Enjoy your weekend getaway along the famous Spring Creek, minutes from Beaver Stadium and downtown State College. This cozy, historic stone cottage was built in 1920, and is perfect for tailgaters, fishermen, or families who want easy access to town and campus, while staying close to nature. The fully-fenced front yard is perfect for dogs or children, and the side patio is a great spot for a bonfire or outdoor dinner under the string lights. Just a quarter mile from Spring Creek Canyon trail which serves hikers, runners, bikes, and fishermen on a ~8 mile stretch of pristine water between State College and Bellefonte. 4 miles from campus and downtown, ideal for Penn State sports games, families visiting their college students, etc. The Rothrock State Forest and Tussey Mountain, home to some of the best hiking, gravel/mountain biking, and skiing in PA are just a 15 minute drive away. Our place can sleep up to 6 people. We have a king bed in the main bedroom, a (high end) off-the-floor blowup queen mattress in the second bedroom, and a day-bed style couch that pulls out into two twin mattresses in the living room. Family and pet friendly!
