Kingfisher Cove is a charming and serene vacation community located just minutes from Saugatuck Dunes State Park and some of the most pristine beaches in the world.

You'll appreciate the beautiful boardwalk to Goshorn Lake, private hot tub on the rear screened in porch, community pool, convenient location and easy access to shops, dining and activities in downtown Saugatuck and Douglas. Make sure to bring your fishing poles for lazy days on the boardwalk.

Location of cabin to onsite amenities was awesome. The hot tub was a great addition. Proximity to all of the adventures we had planned was awesome as well. Loved our time, and more then enough space for family of 5 to spread out.

Beautiful cabin in the Woods on a private lake.

The cabin was lovely and the private lake was clean and fun to swim in. The location was perfect for time in Saugatuck, Douglas and Holland. Saugatuck Dunes State Park was just around the corner. We were very happy with our stay.

The cabin was wonderful. Loved the layout. The spaces were very comfortable. The surroundings were ideal being close to the board walk, to the lake and the swimming pool. Unfortunately, there are a few things that need attention. The refrigerator was dirty inside, the quilts on the bed needed washing, the master bathroom is carpeted, musty and old. It should be removed and replaced. The charcoal grill situation was not ideal as the trees are getting overgrown between the houses. The grill was also not clean. Fortunately, the kitchen, bathrooms and common areas were all nice and tidy.None of these issues kept our family from enjoying vacation but if I would have rented this place with other friends, this would have been a problem. No one wants to check into a place and put their food into a dirty fridge. I actually lined the refrigerator surfaces with paper towels and put our stuff on that. We would love to come back someday but would like assurances that these issues have been addressed. We loved the location and love Saugatuck.

Girls Trip

We stayed at this cabin for a quick girls' weekend with 3 generations of my family. We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub is fantastic. The layout of the cabin is as described. The kitchen was well stocked even though we didn't use it during our stay. The amenities are great. There is a fabulous smelling lilac bush near the front porch which was pleasant upon arrival. Quick walk to the boardwalk/lake. Small community off the main road which is quick and easy access to nearby towns and restaurants. Communication with the owner was fantastic and timely, super friendly. Would recommend this cabin!

successful girls weekend!

My mom, two sisters and I had a great weekend at the cabin. It was a quickly planned trip meant to be sort of a staycation and this place was the perfect vibe. We took advantage of the fireplace and the hot tub (even in 11 degree weather!). The area is great as well - it’s a quiet location but very close to restaurants/things to do - even in the winter! On top of it all, Elisabeth made sure I had all the info I needed to plan ahead for the stay and throughout, and check out was a breeze as well.

Michigan cabin vacation

Perfect summer trip

My family absolutely loved our stay here and our trip to Saugatuck. We had friends stay in a neighboring cabin which made it even better. Loved the community and how close the location is to downtown, oval beach, etc. Would definitely stay here again!

Quiet Family Retreat

We rented the house for a family vacation and it was wonderful. Quiet with a nice pool and a short drive to downtown Saugatuck. A little woodland retreat.

Commencement weekend

We had a very nice stay in the cabin. Lovely location and located in the neighboring town of where our daughter’s college is located. This was also during the Tulip Time Festival in Holland, so having a place to stay a little removed from the hub of activity was great.

We had a great girls weekend staying at this property near Saugatuck! The cottage was just as pictured in the listing and close to both downtown Saugatuck and Saugatuck state park, the check in process was easy and the host was very attentive - I even left a coat behind and they arranged to ship it back to me! Would definitely stay here again!

Great family getaway

We grew up as kids vacationing in Saugatuck and we love sharing the experience with our kids. Great location and lots to do with fishing, swimming, hot tub, Dune Ride, beach, ice cream shop and quaint town with amazing shops.

Kingfisher Gem!

We stayed here as our third trip to Kingfisher Cove and the first in Elisabeth’s cabin. This vacation community is absolutely perfect, and we loved the proximity of this cabin to the pool and the dock. The only thing that wasn’t picture perfect was the comfort of the beds.

We all had a great time! The property manager (Elisabeth) was great to work with. She gave us very specific directions and instructions on how to get to the property and get in. The place was very beautiful, everything we were hoping for and more.

Family birthday party/summer vacation getaway. we went there to celebrate our daughter‘s fourth birthday as well as my birthday with my parents who flew in from Florida. Everything was amazing… Would’ve liked to spend more days there. Proximity to downtown Saugatuck is really nice and the secluded nature of the entire complex is ideal for families with young children.

Great Stay!

A perfect cabin for our girls weekend away! Clean, comfortable and inviting. Close to downtown and activities. Loved the private hot tub and access to pool! Would definitely recommend to others, and would come back again!!
