The 3 outdoor decks provide views of the surrounding woods and deer sightings many times a day. The 1 1/2 story home, features the main bedroom with full bath on the main floor. The lovely kitchen, dining area, living room and den all flow together for an enjoyable gathering area. The living room boasts a gas log fireplace. Second story boasts 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom. Finished lower level enjoys a large great room with daylight windows, a 3/4 bath, Queen Bed and Queen sleeper sofa as well as a blow up mattress to add 6 more sleeping possibilities. Home is surrounded by lush woods and has a fully fenced rear yard. Very private and quiet. The wraparound porch has an additional eating area for 6 and a comfortable seating area.The rear deck boasts a new hot tub and additional outdoor seating. A Two car garage for your parking needs plus a long driveway that can accommodate 4 cars. Just one block off Lake Michigan

Fabulous getaway

This was our second time staying here - it’s the perfect place for a fall getaway! The home is beautiful, clean, and has a lot of space to make yourself comfortable. The fenced in yard is great for our pups, too!

Amazing stay

The jacuzzi was the best part, the house overall was beautiful. We had a great stay. There were minor things like having to wash the towels and sheets before we left.. never had to do this in a stay.

Wonderful Home Away from Home near Lake Michigan

Spring getaway

We loved our stay at this Fennville home! Close to the lake (beautiful sunsets) and several cute towns, and the house was beautiful! Even better than the pictures--so cozy and comfortable, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you might need. We would love to go back! Highly recommend!

Perfect location

The house was incredibly cozy! Perfect for the teens to hang out downstairs while the adults had the coziness of the upstairs. The property was in an incredible wooded area. Just a short ride to Saugatuck. Daily strolls in the neighborhood were very safe with lovely views of the lake. House had all the amenities to cook your own meals. Will definitely be back!

Perfect weekend!

Spent a weekend enjoying this beautiful home with our 4 grown children and dog. So comfortable, well appointed, spacious and clean !! The location was close to beaches, shops , and restaurants which was great but we most enjoyed the peaceful property and lovely home. Thumbs way up for the hot tub! Had a blast with the Wii games ! Great communication and kindness from our hosts . We definitely will return!

Cousins and Aunt vacation

Had such an enjoyable time. House was very comfortable and homey. Really relaxing space. The only thing that should be addressed was the front porch entrance steps needed at least one handrail for my Aunt that walks with a cane needed a handrail. We had to walk her in back entrance.

Favorite Mid-Winter Getaway

This is the second time that we’ve stayed here. We love the proximity to Fennville and Saugatuck/Douglas. The seclusion of the property makes you feel as if you are up north. There is plenty of room to spread out in the house and we especially love the finished basement for movie nights. Our dogs love the fenced in backyard and the hot tub is always a hit at the end of the evening. The hosts are lovely and very responsive. We hope to be back next year.

Beautiful house!!

This house was above our expectation. It is very well maintained, kitchen is well equipped, there is enough space for the three 2-year olds to run in the house and it was super well cleaned. The host was super friendly and responded all my questions within minutes! We felt like we were in our own homes! We will definitely return!! Thanks Teri for everything!!

Dog Memories

House was super clean, can't tell even dogs stay there, first time for us in the area , everything was perfect house,town super friendly town for our dogs , our older dog has cancer so we wanted to take a vacation with him. Couldn't have pick a better house and town. We forgot our dogs harnesses host going to mail to us. House in woods and huge fence was so peaceful. Only recommendation we have specially traveling with pets. Back yard and deck definitely need some kind of Lights. We coming back for sure and love to stay in this beautiful house.

Weekend getaway

Took a long weekend away with my husband, 2 kids(teens) and 2 dogs. House was just as pictured, I’d even say looks better in person. Owners were great. We never had to reach out to them due to the fact everything was clearly stated and written out in what we needed to do. Hot tub was great looking out into the snow covered trees while we had our morning coffee. We took a day trip to Grand Rapids(45 min drive). We also hopped over to downtown Saugatuck for a nice dinner and a bit of shopping(12-15 min drive). We took a morning hike over at Saugatuck dunes state park which was beautiful since it snowed a little the night before. The house has a warm cozy feeling that makes you feel at home. There are other houses around but this house is tucked away in the woods and at the end of a street that it did have a private feel to it. Love to come back in the summer.

This is our fourth or fifth time getaway to this house and we hope to be back in the Spring. It feels like home-away-from-home for our family of four. We always invite our parents and this time we were there long enough to dedicate one of the weekends to inviting friends. The house is always well-cared for; communication with host/owner is prompt, warm, and friendly; the front porch, firepit, and hot tub give you everything you need to get away. The floorplan for the main part of the house is perfect for making dinner, gathering, and also finding a nook for reading or napping.

The house was clean, well appointed, and is well taken care of. The hot tub worked and was a very welcome addition after some of the long hikes and walks my wife and I went on. The front porch is the perfect place to sit early in the morning to read, drink coffee, and watch the wildlife. We say numerous deer while sitting on the porch. The area is absolutely beautiful and perfect for long walks. The host was very responsive leading up to our trip and we appreciate the condition the house was in for our stay.

Why they chose this property

We have vacationed in the area several times and fell in love with the Lakeshore. The beauty of the area, the peacefulness and the many things to do made us want to have a place we could call our own and share with others. This home's location and its unbelievably perfect condition made it an easy choice. It is surrounded by lush landscaping and forest. It is very private, very quiet and serene. Relaxing on the wrap around porch or on one of the decks and watching the deer walk by or listening to the birds chirp or the waters roll in off Lake Michigan make it the perfect retreat. Beautiful area to take walks. The Sauguatuck/Douglas area are just moments away. We love the wonderful dining, entertainment, shopping and beaches. This is truly our little slice of Heaven!

What makes this property unique

From the moment we walked onto the property, we knew this was the home for us. The beautiful wrap around porch with comfy outdoor furniture made us not want to leave. The quality and condition of the interior with its beautiful cherry wood floors, cabinetry, lighting and 360 degree view of the woods was exactly what we were looking for. The master suite with its own bath and the two large bedrooms upstairs with their own bath as well as the finished lower level with extra sleeping areas make it the perfect set up for a family or for several couples wanting to get away. The kitchen is a dream to work in and you never seem seperated from the other guests. The cozy den is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or sneak in an afternoon nap. The fireplace in the living room just tops off the many features. Relaxing in the hot tub at the end of a fun day and watching the trees sway lazily with the breeze is so relaxing. This home is a 10 in our books!
