Saugatuck - Private Parking! Downtown! Entire House, Sleeps 6, Pets OK!

This 1800 sqft home is literally next door to the Saugatuck Center for the Arts and access to all the conveniences of the theater, concerts, art exhibits, cooking classes, workshops, and the green market. It is ONE BLOCK from downtown - you cannot beat this location!!

Private fenced yard with hot tub. Large, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and every gadget you can imagine. Plenty of pots, pans, bowls, storage, utensils, crockpot, blender, coffeemaker, and silverware. Charcoal grill is provided outside, but you will have to supply your own charcoal and lighter fluid. 2 bedrooms sleep 6 - 1 king, 1 queen, 1 queen sofa (yes, it's comfortable - we've tested it!). Linens and towels provided. Washer/Dryer located in the master bath. All bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner and body wash, Q-tips, cotton rounds, hair dryers, extra toothbrushes/toothpaste, and cleaning supplies. House is dog-friendly with a leash, 2 bowls, toys and poop scoop. There are board games for rainy days, and the living room and both bedrooms have TV's with Netflix , Hulu and Amazon Prime at no charge. Free Wifi is included as well.

A digital guest book link will be sent to you prior to your arrival and is full of dining recommendations, location of grocery stores, coffee shops, local bars and beaches.

House is located on a private, dead-end street. Parking is located in a private driveway and can accommodate 4 cars.

Owners live locally and are accessible should anything need to be addressed during your stay.

**Note about hot tub** PLEASE READ
We make every attempt to ensure the hot tub is in service, hot, clean, and ready for your arrival. However, there is always the possibility that the hot tub may not be in service due to things beyond our control (Act of God, weather, power outage, misuse, animal damage, carelessness by a prior guest, malfunction, etc). The hot tub has been in service 100% of the time thus far, but we cannot guarantee its functionality for these reasons. We do not charge extra for this amenity, and offer it as a courtesy. If you are booking our house because of the hot tub, PLEASE message us prior to booking, and if it is not working we will let you know. If you have already booked and it is not in service for your stay we will offer a 20% discount on your nightly rate for the days it is out of service. A full refund will not be issued if the hot tub is not in service for your stay.

This is a lovely house in the best of locations. Right down town, in easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, marina. Beautifully appointed, and very comfortable. Lovely, private, fenced backyard with hot tub. We had a wonderful time there. Hope to go again!

Ladies Yearly Saugatuck Trip

Everything was very nice. The only problem was the cable/TV/Wi-Fi was not in operation after our first of four days there. This was very disappointing and was told it could not be corrected while we were there.

Enjoyed Saugatuck

This is our 3rd stay here, it is perfect for the 2 of us & our 2 canine companions. It is clean, well appointed and so easy to enjoy Saugatuck.

Quiet street right around the corner from restaurants & shops. Walked everywhere, didn’t use the car til it was check-out time. Great kitchen, living room, private backyard with hot tub. Hope it’s available for our next getaway!

Wonderful place to stay

This home was immaculately clean with a very quiet neighborhood. Downtown was literally just steps away. The dogs loved the back yard and the hot tub was awesome! Would definitely come back again!

So perfect…..

This location is perfect. At the end of the street so it is quiet and tucked away but still close enough to walk to so much that Saugatuck has to offer. Super cute decor and the beds were really comfortable. We will definitely be back!

A Perfect Spot

I can say enough about how perfect this rental is. From booking through checkout Keely was great with communication. The house is so perfectly located - an easy walk downtown but at the end of a quiet street. Exceptionally clean and thoughtfully stocked. Felt like home.

Awesome Rental

This was the best rental I have experienced. The place was immaculate and had everything you could imagine. We loved the backyard. Hot tub was our favorite. So close to everything downtown Saugatuck. Location could not be beat. The owner was super easy to work with and very responsive. I will stay here again!!

Perfect Saugatuck Location!

Keely was a fantastic host with the perfect home for a visit to Saugatuck! The location is walking distance to everything - restaurants, shopping and more. And the home was so inviting we ended up spending more time there than planned - happy hours in the private back yard, games in the living room and the hot tub at night. The house was big enough for two couples to feel like they had their own ends of the house too, w/ communal space to gather. And dog friendly! We’ll be back for sure!

Great Anniversary Trip!

Keely & Bill were outstanding hosts who not only provided the perfect place to stay, but also some great advice on places to visit, see and eat. The master bed was extremely comfortable. We always struggle finding pet friendly accommodations and this went above and beyond our expectations. They welcomed our pups as if they were their own and we couldn't have been more appreciative. Best part of the trip was watching the perfect sunset on Douglas Beach, just a short 10 min drive to a hidden gem, which gave us exactly what we were looking for. THANK YOU, KEELY AND BILL!!

Relaxing getaway

We loved the location and privacy this property afforded. The back yard was an oasis with a hot tub, comfortable patio chairs and table, charcoal grill, and a nice size fire pit with seating. Easy walking distance to all downtown stores and restaurants. The home was tastefully decorated and well- stocked, and we loved the whimsical books in the bathrooms and the coasters. We would definitely love to stay here again when we return to Saugatuk. Keely was wonderful to work with and communicated all details about the house in a timely manner. Perfect Vacation Get Away!

This was such a perfect home for our family vacation to Saugatuck—which included our two adult children and two fur babies! The home is located within walking distance of the downtown with all its wonderful shops and restaurants, as well as parks and the docks along the river. The private parking was a great bonus! The home itself was warm and inviting— easy to unpack and feel right at home. Keely and Bill’s top priority is their guests, which is easily seen starting with the cleanliness of the home— which is a 5++++!—to their amenities (such as the hot tub and grill), and all those special items you may need or forgotten (such as toothpaste, toothbrush, beach towels, cleaning supplies,…), and even items for fur babies (such as a dog crate, dog treats/toy, dog bowls as well as cleaning supplies if needed for dogs). The beds were all very comfortable including the pull out bed. Keely was easy to reach for a question and so very kind. We will definitely come back to this home when we visit Saugatuck!

A wonderful place to stay in Saugatuck!

We have rented many dozens of places through VRBO, all over the US, Canada, and Europe. This was simply one of absolute best ever. First: location - you will be a 3-minute walk from the shopping and restaurant area of downtown; can't beat it. Saugatuck is a perfect base for going to Grand Rapids, South Haven, Grand Haven, Holland, even Muskegon and Hoffmaster State Park. Next: Covid considerations - the house was thoroughly disinfected when we arrived. Keely provided disinfectant spray, wipes, and hand sanitizer for use as needed during the stay. As a medical doctor, I had exactly zero concerns in this regard. Finally: general thoughts - I cannot recall any prior rental where the owners put as much care and thought into every detail. A white noise machine at the head of each sleeping area? Really? A great touch. Bathroom rugs that are actually plush and soft, not repurposed dish towels? A cage for Fido...! We appreciated everything Keely has done to make this a truly great house to stay in during our Saugatuck trip. If the size is right for you, I am certain you won't do better! One minor note: the house is not wired for cable TV, yet has a lot of premium channels. But, hey - you're not coming to town to watch TV, right?
