Caitlin was an amazing host and the house and location were perfect for our anniversary. We would definitely book again, Caitlin made everything so easy for us and the house had everything we needed, as we like to cook and stay in with Netflix and the fire. recommend to anyone else looking for a lovely getaway.

Very easy to book, check in and enjoy. Caitlyn was excellent in answering any questions I had prior to my trip in a timely fashion. Beautiful property! Just bummed...no swimming in Lake Galena. However we found other fun things to do to fill our time. Outstanding property and host!

We have been coming to Galena since before we were married, so about 40 years. We have stayed at many properties, and my family agreed that this is our favorite. Clean, nice size kitchen, and a lovely filtered view if the lake. Really nice.

This was a beautiful house with a really amazing view of the lake. The house was very well stocked and the owner was responsive and helpful. The place was very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to stay in Galena.

Best Gal's Getaway in Galena

We had the best time at the hidden forest retreat in Galena. Kitchen was fully stocked- we especially loved using the grill! The location was perfect- private and secluded but still close to town and amenities. We can't wait to come back next time we visit Galena!

Sisters Weekend getaway

My sisters and I rented the Lake house for a sisters getaway weekend to Galena. This place was very nice and had everything you needed. I would recommend this place to any family member or friends. It is only a few minutes from town but a beautiful drive to your destination.

Lovely home, great to help unwind

We needed a quick getaway to destress and this was the perfect haven. Nestled in the trees and very cozy.We came in the dead of winter and was amazed by the view of the lake, which is probably a bit more challenging to see if the trees have their leaves.

Great place! Cozy and relaxing

My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate a few birthdays and we couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more. The hot tub is relaxing after a long day. And while some of us hiked the area, some of us (me) relaxed by the fireplace with some good magazines. Plenty of room for 6 adults to make and share dinner and have space for themselves. Loved it!

Galena with the Grays

We enjoyed spending time together at home. Beautiful lake views while enjoying meals around dining room table and coffee on the porch around fire table. Comfortable furniture to watch movies and share family stories. Spacious home for our group of 6 ladies with ages between 53-79.
