Enjoy a rural, authentic stay in the "Cowboy Cottage" at the Double R Ranch located in the heart of wine country in Paso Robles. Just five miles off of Highway 46 and seven miles from Highway 101. The airport is minutes away. Downtown Paso Robles is just eight miles away! This cozy, comfortable three bedroom, two bath modular home is nestled between large pine trees with peaceful views of this working horse, cattle and pistachio ranch. There are dozens of wonderful wineries within minutes.

Great Ranch House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. So fun listening to the cattle & horses! Very comfortable house, well equipped. Sitting out by the firepit with a glass of wine was the best way to end a fabulous day of wine tasting.

Greetings! Welcome to the Double R Ranch! It is owned by the Richards Family who have a long legacy in the performance horse world. We celebrate the western lifestyle and enjoy our rural surroundings. The Double R Ranch is a working livestock ranch and pistachio farm. Scott and Lauri live on the ranch and manage the day-to-day activities of ranch life.

The Private Cozy Ranch House at the Double R Ranch is a quiet, safe and private home in the wine country of Paso Robles, but just minutes from town. You'll enjoy the views of horses, cattle, sheep and pistachio orchards.

What makes this property unique

You'll enjoy the peace and serenity of a working ranch. Nestled in the wine country of Paso Robles you'll be just minutes from some of the best wineries in California! The Cozy Ranch House is not a mansion, but it is comfortable and clean. We hope you will enjoy the western decor and artwork in the house. Guests will receive a complimentary bottle of wine that is one of our favorites - Vintage Cowboy. Our longtime friends at Vintage Cowboy grow the grapes and have a winery in Pozo. The house is stocked with all your basic kitchen amenities (pots, pans, dishes, utensils, spices, coffee, etc) and there is an out door grill, along with a propane fire pit on the porch. There is bottled water for you in the refrigerator!

We allow for one dog (with pet fees). We too love animals and have friendly dogs here at the ranch.
