Great location and outdoor space!

We really enjoyed our stay here over the 4th of July! This house accommodated our family of 2 adults and 3 young children plus another family of 4 adults and 2 teens. Plenty of beds and hangout space!! The location is perfect and the house had everything we needed. I had a couple questions for the host before we arrived and he answered them very quickly. We would definitely stay here again

Perfect location and a deck with a view!

This is the perfect property for multiple families! We had an incredible stay with four families. The large deck is perfect for hanging out with a big group and has a lake view! Our kids spent hours playing a built in shuffle board on the deck. There is a General Store right down the road, a community pool within walking distance, and restaurants nearby. The host responded to my questions quickly and had everything we needed already in the cottage. Very clean and well decorated, the perfect cottage for an island getaway for all ages.

Great house for multiple families

We had 4 families vacation together. 8 adults with 7 children and most were 4 and under. The kids had a great time swimming, making s’mores and walking to the general store. It is a nice and quiet neighborhood. The deck was awesome and a great run way for the little ones. Glad that the deck had a gate so everyone contained!

We stayed the weekend for Bash on the Bay and travel was great. Middle bass state park and the winery were fun to tour and the house was perfect for us. We enjoyed the deck the most! spent most of our time at the property out there. Would recommend 👌

Great place for large group

Loved MBI. House was great. Great time on outside deck and nice amenities . Spacious. Would stay again. My wife wasnt happy about the sheets on the king bed because they were wrong size and someone put them on queen. Communication could be better and it prob a vrbo thing because it takes a long time for message app to load, especially with limited cellular on MBI. But it was a nice property for our group.

Property provided with a lot of stuff that you need for a vacation but I was not secure to use it because it was not clean, beds were not done except the master room, also address in web was incorrect

Great place for a relaxing vacation with friends

Property was a great size and location for a relaxing Middle Bass Island trip. Plenty of room for our 3 families. Everyone especially loved playing shuffleboard on the deck! Being able to walk to the pool as an alternative to the beach at the state park was a nice perk. Great stay, and would recommend to anyone looking to stay at Middle Bass Island!

Comfortable stay

Our group especially enjoyed the large living room space and oversized sofa. It was so nice to have everyone together for conversation in the morning and evening. The house was in walking distance from the store or Hazzards where you can swim, eat and drink with live entertainment. The only complaint was uncomfortable beds. Overall great place.

Great rental on Middle Bass Island!

We had a wonderful weekend stay in this home for a college reunion (10 adults). There was plenty of beds to accommodate everyone in the group and the deck was perfect for outdoor gathering. The island is very quiet and a great place to get away from it all. The general store was only a short 10 minute walk away with anything you may need at reasonable prices. Attached to the general store is Uncle Joes which has a bar and great pizza. Put-in-Bay was a short 10 minute ferry ride away if you are looking for a little more entertainment. This property is in a location that offers the best of both worlds! We will definitely be back.

Great weekend home!

Great property and the owner does a great job explaining and helping you with everything. The house was well stocked and everything we needed was there. Only downfall was the upstairs toilet being broken but it seems like it was in the process of being fixed. Thanks for a great weekend!

We purchased land and built the home in 2000-2001 as our vacation home on the island. This home was built for three families or larger groups to enjoy together. We continue to enjoy the island every year and use this home as our vacation home but share this with others now as our children are growing and becoming more busy during the summers. We boat from our primary residence in Sandusky to the marina on Middle Bass regularly throughout the season.

Why they chose this property

Middle Bass is the Best of Both worlds, it is quiet with the option to spend the day with family or friends and barbeque, take a walk, bike, golf or enjoy the lake. You can opt to build a fire and watch the multitude of stars on a beautiful evening or seek out a nightlife at the local establishments or at Put in Bay which is a 7 - 10 min water taxi ride away on the SonnyS ferry.

What makes this property unique

The 1,000 sq ft deck on a more secluded wooded lot with a view of the golf course and lake is the perfect environment for guests to be at home away from home.
