The property was very good. We had a little trouble finding it. I was roomy and comfortable in a nice bush setting. The only thing I could suggest is an international electrical outlet adaptor and a compendium explaining operation of things in the cabin ( we had difficulty with the shower) and some recommendations of restaurants etc. I would stay there again.
The cabin was clean, cute, and had a very comfortable bed. The front porch rocking chairs were so relaxing. We did not realize it would take almost 15 min. to get to the cabin from Gardiner, due to the need to drive slowly up the mountain. The WiFi was out the entire time we were there, but everything else worked.
This was the perfect cabin for our family trip to Yellowstone. We enjoyed the 5 mile scenic trip to reach the cabin. Everything we needed was there for us, beds were comfy, and a huge plus was the washer/dryer in the cabin!
It was a very clean, quiet and relaxing place to stay!

Couldn’t be happier that I chose this cabin for our vacation. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and overall the perfect lodging option. Bonus points for the vintage styling of the home. 10/10 highly recommended!
We stayed at the Cub Cache for two of the three nights we booked as we as a family of four found it hard to get comfortable after a long day. There is just two futons in the living room to lounge on in the living room. I think having some couches or different furniture would easily fix that. It was the most beautiful drive there and there is a river but that is not on the property and actually you can’t even see it. Photos make it seem like it is on property but it is not.Place was very clean and communication was good.
Very cozy and quiet. Clean and well supplied. This was a great location for our days spent in Yellowstone. The county road crew should grade the road, but the property was just right for us.
Property was a peaceful place to stay to visit north Yellowstone. It’s off the beaten path for sure. Best to pack for the day and come back after exploring as the bumpy ride to the property adds about 10-15 min from town. Rustic as described but cozy. Kate was great for communicating.
I can’t say enough about this cabin. Perfect location up the mountain for peace and relaxation after spending all day in the national park. Rental was very clean had all the amenities we needed. The mini cooler especially came in handy. Bed was comfortable and kitchen was fully equipped. You can hear the river at all times. Host made sure we were aware of the fire ban. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. It is too far away. We did not feel safe. It is 6 miles on a rough dirt road out of town. Nothing around. The pictures are not accurate. The inside is very rough. Bed was dirty. Inside was cold. We DID NOT STAY JUST LEFT AND TRIED TO CANCEL the last 2 nights. They would NOT SPENT 3 nights somewhere else rather than stay there even without getting any of our money back. AGAIN DO NOT STAY THERE!!!!
Very spacious and clean and very quiet. We had a slight problem when we first arrived, and Kelly arrived almost immediately to help us. We truly
enjoyed our time there.

Overall a good stay
Good: large, clean, liked the porch to sit on after our day Kitchen had a good selection of pots and pans to Cook. It is a way out of town. The road is in need of a plow. Someone described it as a Montana massageWould have been a big plus to have a TV

We loved our stay here. It is very spacious and has a comfortable bed and also a comfortable futon. The kitchen had everything we needed - the cooler and ice pack for days in the park were really appreciated. The bathroom was big and nice. Loved spending our mornings on the rocking chairs on the big front porch where we could hear the river. The drive up the bumpy gravel road isn’t great, but the property made it worth doing the drive once a day. And sometimes we saw elk on the drive! We much preferred this to staying in town. We would stay here again.
Overall a very lovely property. This cabin is a duplex style, so it would of been nice to have the main doors labeled, cabin 1 vs cabin 2. As other guests have mentioned, the road to the cabin is really the only down fall, as it is nothing but washboards style roads but you find out really quick how to avoid the really rough areas. The area is throughly beautiful and there wasn't a time that i couldn't hear the river which was simply serene during early morning walks.

Tranquil getaway
It was a lovely property. We enjoyed the fire pit. The mattress was hard and the bathroom fan seemed to be broken. I only wish it was mentioned that it is up a mountain from town, 5 miles of gravel road. Not very convenient.
The cabin was clean and comfortable. The heater in living room did not work and it was very cold in the mornings. The road to and from the cabin is very rough and hard on your vehicle. I understand that’s beyond the host’s control. But feel like it should have been given in details. The pictures on Vrbo site are not accurate. I was expecting a river/stream to be on property and it was not. This is bear country and you need to have bear spray.
