One of my favorite reviews this season;
Jennifer,
Thanks again for let us stay at your cabin during this crazy, COVID summer. What a treat. We were looking for a road trip get away with the family, and Montana sure did the trick. Your cabin (Yellowstone River Cabin #4) was perfect for our family of four. The bedrooms are nice and spacious. We loved the cozy king-sized bed, and the kids loved that they got to sleep in their own big beds and didn’t mind sharing a room (which is a good thing with a teenaged boy and tween girl)!

You’ve decorated the cabin perfectly for those wanting a true Montana/Yellowstone experience. And your collection of stories and articles about the Yellowstone Park and its history were wonderful to read after spending a day in the Park. We all learned something new! And the book on grizzly bears came in handy, as we were lucky enough to have a grizzly visitor every night in front of the cabin!!! Before you freak out, he never came near the cabins, he was across the way on the island in the middle of the river. Thankfully, he was focused on dining on the elk carcass in front of him, and not the spectators across the river. I snapped this photo of Henry down at the river’s edge before I made him come back up the bank…he was too close; I would not recommend doing that!! But again, what a treat for all of us staying in the Yellowstone River Cabins, we made it an evening ritual before dusk with folks in the other cabins to watch the bear over a glass of wine. A fun way to meet people from all over who were coming out to Montana for the same experiences as we were. We all compared notes from our daily adventures and animal sightings.

The cabin is in such a great spot. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the Yellowstone River from your back porch (love the chairs!), and access to Gardiner and the YNP entrance was extremely easy. Gardiner is such a cute little town, we walked into all the shops, and even ate out for a couple of meals during COVID – I would recommend the Wonderland Café and Yellowstone Grill for breakfast/lunch. We didn’t eat out for dinner at all because we didn’t want to miss the bear siting! J Unfortunately, the day before we left there was a big fire in Gardiner and a couple of the businesses we had popped into earlier that day were burned. I had just taken this photo of Kelly that day in front of the Blue Goose Saloon. So sad to see those historic buildings destroyed.

We can’t express enough how much we enjoyed our trip and our time at your cabin. It had all the comforts of home, but it wasn’t home, which is exactly what we were looking for! We will definitely be back – but hopefully with a siting of you - and your kids! For me that was all that was missing with my Montana trip.

Perfect place to see Yellowstone!!

This cottage was perfect for us. My husband and a friend enjoyed traveling throughout Yellowstone as we stayed here. We cooked two meals and especially enjoyed sitting on the outside porch And watching the wildlife. The beds were fantastic and we slept like babies.

Perfect Yellowstone vacation spot!

This cabin is in an idyllic location right on the Yellowstone River very close to the park boundary. The home was clean, well furnished, and a pleasure to stay in for our trip to Yellowstone. Jennifer was easy to work with, communicated quickly, and did not hesitate to accommodate us when we needed to change our dates. I would definitely recommend her cabin!

Amazing Experience

This cabin was simply perfect. Spacious enough for a family of 5 and the views from the porch were just incredible. Even though we weren’t able to enter Yellowstone through the North Entrance (which was about 20 min away), I’m still so glad we ended up staying here!

Heaven on the Yellowstone River

Jennifer's Cabin 4 is the perfect spot to unwind, explore, and wildlife watch. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay! The cabin itself has all the comforts of home...take some/leave some style paper products, spices, etc, extra throw blankets, comfy furniture and beds, fishing poles, cooler...on and on! The daily elk herd visits, pronghorn antelope in meadows, the sound of the river...all will be missed until our next visit, which won't come soon enough!

Yellowstone adventure

This cabin is located very close to the North entrance to Yellowstone. With the river flowing in the back yard and the mountains all around - it was a breath taking experience for sure. Having a full kitchen and laundry facilities in the cabin were so important. We could not have asked for more. Gardner is right at the North Entrance as well and has an assortment of restaurants, shops, gas, and a grocery store. All you need. We would recommend this experience and hope to return.

Best cabin experience ever!

The cabin was everything we dreamed of wanting it to be while we were visiting Yellowstone! Having the Yellowstone River right in our backyard was priceless! We loved sitting out on the back porch watching the river flow, seeing rafters having fun, spotting wildlife across the way, watching a coyote run by and spotting an active nest in the bush right next to our cabin! We highly recommend staying here as the access to the beautiful and fun town of Gardiner and the park was in perfect proximity to the cabin. We miss it all already! Thank you Jennifer for allowing us to experience Big Sky Country and Yellowstone NP with your cabin being our home base for a whole week! We loved it so much!

Great Cabin on the Yellowstone River

This is the 2nd time we've stayed in this cabin. We loved it. Fully stocked with anything needed. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Enough room for a family of 4. Nice porch overlooking the Yellowstone River. About a 4 mile drive on gravel road to the cabin. No problem but you do need a car wash at end of stay. Only problem is trash disposal at end of your stay. Spent too much time trying to find a disposal site. More exact direction to trash disposal would be nice. Other than that, GREAT property.

Serenity

This was a much needed vacation for my kids and I. The last two years have been very difficult since the loss of my oldest daughter. We all really enjoyed the cabin! Check in was easy and smooth. My kids and I felt like we were all at home and very comfortable. It was close for exploring Yellowstone and the cute little town of Gardiner. We even got a little thunder storm and a beautiful full double rainbow right off the back deck. This was such a highlight moment and just more reassurance that our girl, Hailey was there with us. My son Ryan even drew a little Magpie in the guest book and left a message himself. That’s how much they really enjoyed everything about our stay there. I will definitely be back! I can’t thank you enough❤️

Great cabin

Great place beautiful scenery. Only negative is that the literature about the trash was out of date. The store in Gardiner is very small anyone on a special diet needs to get food in Livingston. There was lots of leftover paper products and condiments so would check in before buying that stuff. End of June ‘21 and still lots closed in the park and many restaurants in town were take out only. Overall the negative were minor compared to all the positives. Would highly recommend this rental

Yellowstone getaway

We planned the trip to visit Yellowstone National Park with another couple. I was excited to experience my first stay at a VRBO property. We absolutely loved the cabin with porch overlooking the Yellowstone River and mountains. Every morning and evening the elk came by to mow grass and fertilize. It was great! The cabin had all the appliances needed with plenty of dishes and cookware. We were able to check in a little early to be able to refrigerate purchased food, which we very much appreciated. Thank you to Jennifer and cleaning staff! This cabin allowed us to enjoy a very special vacation with friends. Julia, Dave, Connie and Ron

3 amazing nights

My husband and 2 of my adult children just left this lovely cabin. It was perfect for our first visit to Yellowstone area. After a long day at the park, it was lovely to sit outside on the back deck overlooking the river. The cabin itself is clean and equipped with anything you might need. Each morning we were greeted by elk literally right out our door. They walk by on their way to the river where they lounge for a couple hours. Since its September, you hear the male elk bugling ,mostly at night. There is also a resident horse, Buttercup, who was super friendly. We loved visiting her every night. Thdre was a woman , Diana, maybe the property manager(?), who was great to chat with. Very informatjve. If there is anything negative I could say its the drive in is a bit rough , but even that was fun because we saw deer. If I ever come back, I would stay at Cabin 4 again!

A little slice of heaven

We just returned from Montana and this wonderful cabin. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our little "home away from home". this property was the most perfect place to stay while visiting Yellowstone. Absolutely everything that one would need for a comfortable stay was provided in our cabin. The cabin was spacious and at the same time very cozy and warm. The beds were very comfy with high end linens, and the towels were fluffy and plentiful. There are two wonderfully spacious bedrooms, each with its own bath which was very convenient especially while trying to get out to the park early. Hot water for showers was in great supply. The cabin was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated which made it especially cozy and warm. The kitchen had every amenity and appliance that anyone could possibly need. It was especially wonderful to have a washer and dryer available in the cabin. No need to pack a lot of clothes when you can launder your essentials. (I still managed to overpack.... oh well!). The location of this property is perfect, just outside Gardiner. This was one of the best vacations that I have ever enjoyed, due in large part to this wonderful cabin and its owner. She was an absolute delight to work with. I hope to return again and again to this wonderful "little slice of heaven" in Montana.
