Best shower and bed in Monteverde!

We loved our stay here. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was hot and really amazing, great after a day out hiking or when it was cold. We did come when there was a cold spell, so pack warm clothes. Great kitchen and nice clean large fridge. One suggestion would be to make sure that there are basics like salt in the kitchen and perhaps add a rug to the floor because the tile floor made it colder. A great place to stay.

Cabin was not the same one I booked and MOLDY

The location on the VRBO listing appeared to be down a remote road ten minutes outside of town. The actual property is located right in town. We actually drove to the wrong place before calling and finding out the real location. We arrived and were told the cabin we had booked was given to another group. the cabin available only had one bed for my family of four. The cabin had a futon but it was uncomfortable and they had no bedding for it. To top all of that off, the cabin is moldy! The ceiling has visible mold growing on the wood panes and even the throw pillows had visible mildew. I tried to find another place to stay but it’s the busy season and nothing else was available. The host made no effort to make this better for us. I wouldn’t book here
