Dunedin Getaway

“MAC”

Our stay was amazing. John couldn’t have been a better host. He checked on us during our stay. Even chatted with us on the front porch while MAC (bird) came to visit. We had recently seen the bird perched on a post at the marina. We named him MAC because our McCurry (granddaddy Mac) first cousins reunion was why we came. The last living sibling of 12 in the McCurry family lives on Wood St in Dunedin. The house was very clean and fully stocked. We highly recommend John as a host! .

Location is Everything!

Four of us stayed here when we came down from Ohio for a girls trip! John, the owner was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. He did everything that he could to make our stay excellent. Upon arrival, he left us a charcuterie board, and a chilled bottle of champagne, as well as a jug of ice water! This house is very quaint and cozy. It had everything that we needed for a great long weekend. Its location is fabulous! Everything in downtown Dunedin is just a short walk away. It’s also centrally located to other Gulf coast cities such as Palm Harbor, Tarpon Springs, Clearwater, St Pete, Madeira Beach, Treasure Island. they are all about a 10 to 20 minute drive. We would absolutely stay here again!

It might just be the best city in America.

This city is not just a safe, friendly place to raise a family, it’s also tons of fun. You can watch a Toronto Blue Jays spring training game, sample the brews at Florida’s oldest craft brewery, visit the renowned Dunedin Fine Arts Center, watch the annual Mardi Gras parade, and participate in the Highland Games (a tribute to Dunedin’s Scottish heritage). Dunedin has received praise as one of the best places to retire and one of the most walkable cities in the country. As if that weren’t enough, the gorgeous, unspoiled beaches of Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island often make lists of best beaches in the U.S. We love this town, and we know you will, too.
