Portofino Cottage- Secluded Luxury + Tranquility

Portofino Cottage is the perfect escape from the city. Tucked away in the Hill Country on 4.5 acres while still close to the best Dripping Springs and Austin have to offer. Enjoy the peacefulness and stars under the trees around a cozy fire or venture out to one of the many wineries, breweries and swimming holes. Located 20 minutes from Downtown Austin and many wedding venues.
The space
Portofino Cottage is newly renovated and nestled on 4.5 acres in the Texas Hill Country just off the beaten path. Experience a one-of-a-kind indoor and outdoor experience with large porches on three sides, large deck under twinkle lit trees with outdoor seating and a fire pit. Our cottage was designed with comfort in mind with the coziest furnishings from the sofa to the comfy mattress with luxurious linens.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need during your stay as well as a Keurig and tea kettle (coffee and tea are provided)

The living area looks out onto the porches and back patio area. There is a large comfy sofa, smart tv and extra trifold queen mattress in the living room closet.

In the dining area you will find a record player and instructions for use.

The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash as well as any extras you may have forgotten. There is a blowdryer and first aid kit available as well.

The bedroom has a cushy queen bed and walk-in closet for your storage needs, an extra sound machine, linens, pillows and portable crib if needed. We also have a small basket of easily sanitized toys.

The office is the perfect spot when you need a minute to work. For your convenience there is a printer and fast Wi-Fi.

There is a laundry room available outside on the back porch preferably for extended stays only.
Guest access
Guests have access to the areas around the cottage (4.5 acres) We do not live here but are available if we are needed. My husband uses the remainder of the property for his landscaping business so please try to stay within the 4.5 acres surrounding the house. We have 4H goats housed in the barn behind the house

Peaceful Retreat with Delightful Hosts!

My brother and I had a fantastic stay at Portofino Cottage in Dripping Springs. The property was immaculate and cozy, with beautiful decor and top-notch amenities. Rachel, our host, was incredibly responsive and attentive. We loved the peaceful wraparound porch, the twinkle-lit deck, and the cozy fire pit under the stars. The cottage offered just the right mix of tranquility and convenience, being close to local attractions and Austin. The highlight of our stay was enjoying the many cute goats on the property and meeting their friendly dog, Bigfoot. The charming animals added to the serene atmosphere and made our stay even more special. Overall, it was a perfect, relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!
