About this property

Our typical Black Forest farmhouse is situated in one of the most beautiful spots of the village of Ibach, right next to the forest in a sunny and quiet location away from busy roads. We are at an altitude of 1015 m (3140 ft) with views down the open highland valley of Ibach. During clear weather you can see the breathtaking panorama of the Swiss, French and Austrian Alps - peaks such as Mont Blanc and the famous trio of Eiger North Face, Moench and Jungfrau to name but a few. The relaxing apartment is very roomy and well furrnished. During your stay at our farm you have use of the lawn with a nice children playground. You have direct access to the wide ranging hiking trails around Ibach, in summer und winter.

Nordic-Walking: If you like you can test the new sport of Nordic - Walking. This type of sport comes from Finland, but is also very popular now in Germany. You walk like nordic skiing with two sticks. It´s very good for almost all muscles of the body. Our own Nordic-Walking trainer can show you how to do this sport.

Mountain-biking and hiking: Ibach is a very fine area to do the sport of mountain-biking and hiking. There are a lot of serveral ways and different difficulties to do. There are also cards you can look and take with you on your walk.

Ruhig und idyllisch

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub hier und sind uns alle einig, dass wir wieder kommen. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und mit einer phantastischen Aussicht. Wir könnten sogar bis zu den Alpen sehen. Vielen Dank an Familie Speicher und bis zum nächsten mal

Séjour champestre reposant

Dans un appartement très spacieux et très confortable, nous avons passé un séjour idéal avec nos petits-enfants, parmi les animaux de la ferme et les forêts magnifiques aux alentours. Ibach est très bien placé, à moins d'une heure des chutes du Rhin, des sources du Danube, du Titisee, du Feldberg et de Freiburg. Nous avons pu faire des excursions magnifiques et nous remercions la famille Speicher de son accueil et de sa disponibilité. A recommander pour un séjour familial et pour les amoureux de la nature.

Familienurlaub im Grünen

Wir haben im Oktober mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern (etwa 2 Jahre alt) eine sehr schöne Woche in Ibach verbracht. Die Wohnung entspricht den Beschreibungen, der Wohnbereich ist geräumig und bietet Platz zum toben, das Bad hat eine sehr gute Dusche und die Küche ist äußerst gut ausgestattet (nur scharfe Messer sollte man selbst im Gepäck haben).Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Die Kinder haben sich in der Wohnung wohl gefühlt, besonders die Ziegen, die gefüttert und gestreichelt werden konnten, waren ein Highlight. Einziger Nachteil aus unserer Sicht: die Wohnung ist recht hellhörig, sodass die Geräusche von oben deutlich durchdringen. Bei Kindern mit Einschlafproblemen, wie in unserem Fall leider gegeben, kann es da schwierig werden. Alles in Allem können wir die Wohnung aber weiterempfehlen, sie liegt schön und bietet das, was man von einer FeWo erwartet. Tipp für Familien: im Nachbarort Todtmoos gibt es einen sehr schönen Spielplatz und in der Touristeninformation einen Spielraum für schlechtes Wetter sowie die Möglichkeit kostenlos Tragerucksäcke für Wandertouren zu leihen.
