All of our driver were notifying us to be careful because the neighborhood across the street is rough. The check in process was very straightforward however, the house was not so clean. We saw spiders and roaches, we weren’t able to sleep how we wanted to.

Unmatched professionalism by our host Ian Baker 🙌!! First time to Jamaica, I booked this trip for myself and my sister for a weekend getaway from all of our regular obligations and responsibilities, to simply relax on a beautiful island and beach. Great experience

We stayed a couple nights at the property and the highlight for us was the Driver and guide - Mr Baker. We had a flight delay and were unable to communicate with him. He waited hours for us at the Airport and it felt so good walking out of the airport in a foreign place and seeing someone with a "Welcome Home Yvonne" sign...my name is Yvonne by the way if you didn't already figure that part out 😉. My family and I were thrilled! That was a great start to my 40th birthday trip! He was always very professional and timely for all rides. Yet he really connected well with our younger kids. An overall jovial and likeable person. When we hit minor issues with the AC and gas running out he immediately came in and helped get things working again. He was great with communicating, answering our questions etc. He arranged for us a super fun cruise with Dreamer Catamaran Cruises all put together within a day! He was just an amazing asset to us. It was a short but fun, memorable and blessed trip thanks to Mr. Baker.

Wonderful Stay

First of all the apartment is as advertised; "smart house", upgraded appliances, cold A/C, high speed internet, HD TV, comfy bed, gated community and we quite enjoyed the various shower water features. Second our host Ian was great through out the whole process, responded to inquiries very timely before and during our stay and even checked up on us during our stay to make sure everything was to our liking. Another great option is that Ian is able to provide and/or find you transportation as currently there is no Uber in the area so transportation is key. The location is also quite good as very close to the airport, beaches and town center. Overall great stay and highly recommend especially if you want to experience the true local vibes.

The unit is clean, safe, neighbors nice, and relatively spacious and contemporary. Bronstein checked up on me regularly, although not needed. I do suggest that, with the "smart house", you go through all the lights and appliances (AC - trip switch) during check in to learn how to use them. The voice command is very finicky and it best you know how to manually turn items on. A good value also.

We had a great time in Jamaica because of our helpful and wonderful host Ian. The place looks just like the picture but beyond that the reassurance that your host is available for anything at any time without physically being there. He was very helpful with providing us any information we needed and sometimes things we haven't even asked about. He arranged transportation that fit our budget and made sure to keep our safety and enjoyment in mind. If you are looking to really enjoy Jamaica amongst the locals and embrace the culture then Ian's place is the place to be.

Overall the space had everything needed. The best and main part of the stay was the support system thats set up. As I quickly realized upon landing (my fault, lack of research) is there is no Uber in Jamaica. Unknowingly Ian has this all set up and the stay comes with a personally dedicated driver who recommends the goods and not so good things to do, like a literal standby personal driver. Everyone is always on time, makes you feel SAFE (very important), and does not forget about you. Plan to return. Unit has AC, but Jamaica is hot, expect to be hot outdoors. Best, part, the driver. Cant express how important that is.

Home away from home!

This apartment is truly a home away from home!! I really enjoyed staying in this smart home. It is completely gated, which made me feel safe. It's very comfortable with its high tech to assist in making your stay even more enjoyable. I did not physically turn the lights on and off, nor the music, AC or even have to lock the door. All I had to do were speak the words and the actions were done for me. I also had the pleasure of meeting Ian. OMG! What a great guy! He was always quick to assist with directions or recommend interesting tourist attractions. I accidentally injured my foot while in Jamaica, called Ian, and he was right there to assist me. I will most definitely stay at this apartment again!!

You're going to love staying here!

I enjoyed staying here! My friend and I were impressed by the smart home idea so we were already excited to check in, the convenience of not having to get up to turn off the lights or not having to take a door key when leaving the apartment. The place was very clean, spacious, easy to find and reach. We had our own private entrance and the place to ourselves. Ian was also very helpful whenever we wanted to know where to go to eat or where to go in the area. I will definitely stay here when I go back to Jamaica.

A fantastic vacation

This was my second trip to Jamaica. The appt is equipped with everything to make your vacation enjoyable. This is a smart home-technology is at your fingertips! Our host , Ian, met us at the airport and was our chauffeur as we toured the island . He was extremely knowlegeable of history of the island including foods and tradition. Very convenient home.

Ian was a very great host. Accommodations were very good, Very safe. Area is gated, upon arrival you will receive keys to the apartment and gate key fob. Ian is an excellent host if arrangements are made in advance Ian will either pick up his guests at the airport or arrange taxi pick up for his guests. Ian has a list of Jamaica activities in the apartment with very fair rates for the tours. Guests are treated very well by Ian and his family/friends. He goes out of his way to ensure that everything is taken care of. If u would prefer not to cook for your vacation just make arrangements before ur arrival. Ian's apartment is very well set up 2 bedroom which has air conditioning in both rooms. His house is set up as a smart home technology, door entrance can either be opened by a key or by your cellphone. He has Echo Dot set up to control lights, fans, music, games, TV. I would most certainly not think twice about staying here to get the true Jamaican experience way better than staying on a resort. Will see you again next year, we have now stayed our past 2 winter holidays at Ian's accommodations and look forward to next year's holidays.
