The house was perfect. Clean, comfortable beds, well supplied, and great location. We had a small hiccup with the key entry but the owners promptly corrected it so there was minimal disruption to our stay. They were friendly and would stay there again!

Wonderful stay at Steps Away with our family of five! Extremely clean throughout the entire house which is well appointed and decorated with a lovely beach theme. Nice to have a ceiling fan in all rooms. Close to beach and pool - both which are not crowded even for a busy last June week. Within walking distance to the lighthouse, Whalehead club, shops, restaurants and mini golf. Easy and fast communication with owner if needed.

Great Stay Perfect Location

This villa was spotless, perfectly located, and felt just like home—honestly, it’s the kind of place I’d love to own myself. The check-in was easy, the neighborhood was quiet, and our family made amazing memories. Highly recommend for a relaxing beach getaway!

Beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 story home well located in Corolla. I went with the objective of photographing the Carova wild horses, which we did. This home is right across the Corolla historic park and lighthouse and it is in this park where you can air down and air up your tires when going to ride through the 4x4 beach which we did every day. The beach is just a very short walk. I went the second week of October. A quiet community. Has a nice taco/quesadilla/empanada little restaurant/bar as you drive in. You can walk to this place. Also a few minute walk will take you to another small local restaurant and a mini mart. I found the house to be in a perfect location to walk to the beach, have a short drive to the supermarket, other restaurants, coffee shops, etc. the owner allows you to use their garage. The kitchen has everything you will need. It has a few things to get you started, like toilet paper, Keurig pods, coffee filters, paper towels, dishwasher soap pod, washer soap, bathroom soap. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. This home has a beautiful, peaceful energy to it. I was alone in this house and felt very safe. My friend couldn’t come. My other 2 friends had already reserved another home just a walk down the road in the same community. I have to mention how well decorated it is. Not cluttered at all. It is a very zen place with natural colors. Thank you for having such a beautiful and well kept place to share with others.

Wonderful Villa

This was the perfect beach villa. Everything was new and spotless. It is a very quick walk to a beautiful beach, also a short walk to the lighthouse, shops, and restaurants. The owner was very responsive and helpful. A wonderful place to stay in every way.

Steps Away Beach Villa in Corolla, NC

Had a great time at Steps Away. Amberley is a wonderful host. Very quick response to any questions we had. The villa is literally “steps away” from the beach, Corolla lighthouse and park and many great shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this property for your Outer Banks vacation.
