Here's a tighter version (around 1,350 characters):---This was our first stay here, and it's very much as advertised: a small one-bedroom that uses its space beautifully, reminiscent of places we've stayed in Europe.A few disappointments. First, there's no parking—it's in the listing, but buried. We arrived late, parked in what I thought was a free spot, and got a ticket (the free spots were taken by work vans). Budget 100/day for parking, and set a 6:00 am alarm to secure your spot before the meter-readers arrive.Second, the courtyard entrance has a cool stone manatee mailbox, but the nearest parking space makes it hard to get past. I'm glad my spouse was out of her wheelchair, or she couldn't have passed. Be careful not to scratch that car when hauling in chairs and coolers.Third, the windows face the courtyard walkway, so passersby see right into the bedroom and living areas. You'll keep the blinds drawn constantly, leaving little natural light. Finally, the internet is spotty. My spouse had to use our hotspot for dependable work access, and streaming the World Cup dropped and lagged regularly.Had we known these things, we'd have prepared better. On the plus side, the location is great for walking to the beach, bars, restaurants, and the 7-Eleven. The bed is very comfortable, the AC and ceiling fans work great, the kitchen is well stocked, and the patio grill is one of the nicest I've seen in a rental.
