The loons call to one another with happy melodies, (which is how we named the house!) the eagles nest near our home, playful otters move about in groups of 2-3, trout, musky, bass fish are known to be caught …. and so much more. Imagine a serene morning, overlooking the most beautiful sunrise, in a lush forest, where the dawn chorus of birds fills the air, life is full and possible and certainly where nature and wildlife thrive.
All Seasons: The seasons are plentiful and provide year round. In summer, when off water; not fishing, boating or swimming, you will be amazed by the beauty and opportunities around you. Extensive hikes for all levels. Endless trails. Winding roads for long fall car rides. Stunning runs for those that seek movement and exercise even on vacation! Near-by water falls are to be seen not only in summer but in fall. In autumn, the fall leaves paint shallow skies with continuation of nothing but stunning views around you. The winter wonderland is beautiful, winter sports and activities are saught after, this area is known for it’s snow mobile trails and ice fishing fun. Check out Bents Camp for snow mobile “Radar Fest” filled with snow mobiles, music and adult entertainment.

Open water fishing for three seasons of the year, with ice fishing being very popular during the winter months. When the snow is falling, this home is conveniently close to the snowmobile and ATV/UTV trail systems, offering access to hundreds of miles of groomed trails throughout northern Wisconsin and upper Michigan.
For additional outdoor fun, the Sylvania Wilderness, just a little over 13 miles north, is a 18,000-acre preserve that feels like a smaller version of the Boundary Waters. Old-growth forests and crystal clear lakes dominate the landscape here, making it a great place to enjoy a day of fishing, paddling, and solitude.
Convenience’s to Town: Just a short drive to Boulder Junction or Land ‘O Lakes, you are within reach to all conveniences. Visit the quaint downtown areas, for shopping, strolling, coffee, ice-cream sundaes, antique perusing, food and more. (Grocery shopping available in both towns.)
Welcome Inside: The house feels like a warm and inviting retreat. The heart of the home, centered in the kitchen, with a sprawling chef’s wolf range, makes it easy to cook for small OR large groups. Open to the dining area, an expansive table will seat your whole crew! Two living areas on the first floor, make it possible for everyone to spread out. Tall soaring ceilings, natural light, stone fireplace facade, wood walls and finish – all just a part of your up north experience. Second floor is finished with two large queen bunk-beds that will sleep 8 very comfortably. For those that need to add additional sleeping arrangements close by, blow up mattress will fit in this upper level room. Lower level provides an additional gathering space, walk out and steps from the water, the ping pong table is easily removed and replaced with two large, very comfortable pop up beds. For those that appreciate and seek comfort, a good night’s rest, and mattresses with quality; this will not disappoint.
