Via Jacques will be your Palm Springs home away from home. Mid century indoor/outdoor living design by Meiselman, thoughtfully updated in 2013 with a nod to the mid-century/Palm Springs modern aesthetic. Via Jacques boasts a large swimming pool with built-in spa plus unequaled views of Mount San Jacinto. Full poolside bar and lots of places to lounge in the large back garden. All of life's necessities like wireless internet, full laundry facilities, barbecue, home security system and garage with Tesla charger.
3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, living room sofabed to accommodate an extra guest or two. Please note I'm only allowed a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children under age 12.
Enjoy cool desert nights by the indoor fireglass fireplace or outdoor fire pit. Private, fully fenced back yard. Covered patio. Mature fruit trees and lots of palm trees.
Racquet Club Estates is a quiet neighborhood about 1 mile from downtown Palm Springs. Welcome to Via Jacques!

Marvelous Mid Century Mod

We loved the house, the host, and so close to everything. We enjoyed the pool and spa daily and had a blissful sleep each night. The kitchen was fully equipped. Perfect!

Amazing Palm Springs House

This was a perfect backyard oasis - pool and hot tub were exactly what we were looking for! The house was perfect for our family of 4 for a relaxing and fun weekend in Palm Springs. The location is also fantastic we were less than a 5 minute drive to every restaurant and store we wanted to go to. The house had absolutely everything we needed to have several dinners at home. The views from the backyard are stunning! Lots of spaces to lounge outside and take in the beauty!

Fantastic Property/Superb Host

Excellent Location for a getaway with friends

The property is just lovely. We spent the majority of our time poolside and reading perfect place to do so. The backyard really is the best! The neighborhood is pretty quiet. We really enjoyed our time there spacious enough for the 3 of us!

This property is our go to when in Palm Springs. Susie is excellent to communicate with and the house is clean, and well equipped. The outside is private, and the pool and hot tub are wonderful. Raquet Club Estates is a quiet neighborhood. This house provides the perfect place to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustlenof life.

Great Time/Fun In The Sun!

Wonderful stay, house was beautiful and well stocked for family/friends. Close to downtown. Great host communication and layout of the house and the backyard were amazing! The outdoor kitchen and grill was a plus! Pool and hot tub Was perfectly heated all times! So clean!! Laundry plus!

Great house, great views, great owner!

We stayed here for a long weekend, family of 4. This was the perfect house. Susie is a great host and had everything set up perfectly for us. Great view of the mountains from the backyard, and we used the pool and hot tub all weekend. We will definitely be returning soon.

Lovely spot

Via Jacques combines a convenient location with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen, but the highlight is really the backyard. Bonus!

Wonderful and relaxing stay with great service

The house is beautiful. Stocked with everything you'd need. Outdoor cabana and covered patio area are great additional outdoor spaces. Fabulous mountain view, very private and well landscaped backyard. Perfect central but still quiet location. Owner was very accommodating and accessible. So LOVELY!

Everything was simply perfect for my little family of 4. The area and location were by far the best I've ever been able to afford to rent. You are literally down the street from the Rivera Hotel and Downtown PS. Next trip will be GIRLS only!

Beautiful and Relaxing!

I booked Via Jacques for a girls' weekend, and it didn't disappoint! We stayed for 2 wonderful nights at the end of May; everything we needed really was at the house: pool, spa, hammocks, stocked kitchen. The outside bar area was incredibly convenient for our 2 days of lounging poolside. Everything regarding the rental process was smooth; Susan is wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this rental!

Simply Perfect

I can't say enough good things about our stay in Palm Springs. The house was clean and the pool was perfect. My favorite thing was waking up in the very comfy bed and going to the patio to lay on the hammock to enjoy my coffee in the morning. Susan was very accommodating and is an extremely thoughtful and sweet host. She takes pride in making sure your stay is perfect. I can't wait to come back!

Everything You Need!!!

The property comes as advertised. The home is well appointed with everything you need for a memorable vacation in Palm Springs. The check in process was easy and Susan was able to accommodate our family with an early check in which was greatly appreciated. The home was clean, the kitchen was stocked with everything you need, towels and pool floaties were available, no need to bring your own. The pool side bar was a nice touch and served as a great place to keep the drinks cold and mix up a margarita for happy hour. The pool, spa, fireplace, hammock lounge are the show stoppers here...the outdoor living space is amazing. We enjoyed spending mornings, afternoons and evenings in the yard. Grocery stores (Albertsons, Stater Bros), Starbucks, a few restaurants are within walking distance and if you have some time, the walk to downtown will take you about 30-40 mins. Great location in a quite and safe neighborhood! I would recommend this space for anyone looking to get away with their family for a few days or weeks!

Relax, recharge, repeat

Palm Springs is always a family favorite, and this home was everything we could ask for in a home away from home. Our host was responsive and helpful, and was able to turn the pool a little warmer for our 3 yr old and that made all the difference in the world. The kids spent 7 days swimming and jumping in the pool, it was fabulous. Close to grocery, restaurants, tram, airport, super quiet neighborhood and we loved every minute of our trip. House was great, all the amenities, great A/C, TV options, no complaints! Will be looking to return next year!

Perfect!

Our family have stayed at this property several times and we have never been disappointed. Susie has always been excellent to communicate with and very responsive if contacted. The house has had a few upgrades since we last stayed 3 years ago and was just perfect. The location is great for exploring local attractions and the neighborhood is lovely and quiet. The house is exceptionally clean and is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing time in the sun. The outside of the house is very well maintained, and the backyard private. Its spacious with different seating areas to relax, read, snooze and chat. The pool & hot tub are lovely and clean and provide a welcome relief from the sun. I have a lways highly recommended this house and it continues to be our go to when visiting Palm Springs.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in your Palm Springs home. We loved the way the home is situated. You walk right in to the pool area. Having that bar area and extra fridge outdoors was a surprise and bonus. The house was so clean and neat. No detail was missed. I appreciated having all of the things stocked that I needed in the kitchen to feel like I was at home. The house was decorated very cute. I think the photos don't do it justice. It has a very nice big backyard as well as the side yard with hammocks that's we all enjoyed. I can't wait to come back. Many thanks for a great weekend.

Bring lots of sun tan lotion!

Wow! This is a vintage house restored beautifully that looks and feels bright and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped (a long galley style) Large windows from a spacious living room look out to a stunning large backyard complete with several outside "rooms" one with hammocks, one with barbecue and one with a large pool and hot tub. If you are looking for outdoor living at its best, this is the place. Susie is great and we were happy to have a chance to meet her. She "gets it" when it comes to equipping and decorating a place, such as providing enough deck lounges, beautiful dishes as well as all the little extras all over the property. Highly recommended!

After a happy and thriving experience with our first vacation rental in Palm Springs, Via Miraleste, my husband and I purchased Via Jacques in April 2013 and have gone through major renovations to bring our guests a taste of Palm Springs mid-century living with all of the amenities of today.
I love mid century design and love being a host to my guests.
My family and I live in Orange County, California, about 1 1/2 hours from Via Jacques (in another mid-century property!) and spend a good deal of time in Palm Springs tending to our properties.

Why they chose this property

I purchased Via Jacques in April 2013 after looking at dozens of homes in Palm Springs. Via Jacques has wonderful light, beautiful views of the mountains, is very private and peaceful and just has a good all-around 'feel'. I loved that the entire pool, fire pit and spa could be viewed from the living room and dining area--really an indoor/outdoor experience.

What makes this property unique

Via Jacques boasts not only a large pool and built-in spa, but a proper fireplace indoors and an outdoor firepit with lots of seating around it. I also loved that Via Jacques fulfilled my 'must have' of an unobstructed view of the mountains. The deal clincher was the poolside bar with full size fridge, large sink, and plenty of storage and counterspace to blend favorite frosty drinks. Now you can blend away and then fill your friends' glasses just steps from the pool!
