Nestled on the top of a mountain on a private 47 acre tract of land, Sunset Mountain offers the true getaway you've been looking for. With its large covered porch, rocking chairs, hot tub and fire pit, you can truly detach and get the peace and quiet you've been longing for.
The inside of Sunset Mountain is farmhouse meets modern. As you step inside, you'll first step into the fully stocked kitchen complete with dining space, eat in bar, and stainless steel appliances. The living room sits just off the kitchen offering a wood burning fireplace, comfortable seating, and television with DVD player. Just off the living room are two separate bedrooms. The first is a private bedroom and features a queen sized bed, the second featuring a queen sized bed and bunk beds. For guest convenience, there is a full bath with tub/shower combo. Upstairs in the open loft, you will find two additional queen sized beds and another full bath.
Sunset Mountain is located in the Deep Gap area of the Alarka Community, which is about a 30 minute drive from downtown Bryson City. Bryson City offers the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad for the Polar Express, many local shops and breweries, and the Deep Creek access to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Within an hour's drive, you can also enjoy Fontana Lake, Tsali biking trails, and the Cherokee Indian Reservation.

Pretty good place to relax. Out away from all other housing and roomy. Our family enjoyed the stay. Tub in downstairs bathroom had a water drip constantly but everything else worked great.
