Barefoot & Beachy! Cute, Cozy Cottage-Sleeps 4
Kick back and relax at the Barefoot & Beachy Cottage across from Carrabelle Beach; a sanctuary with beachy and comfortable furnishings, new memory foam mattresses, a full- size kitchen with all you need for your meal prep and a screened-in porch for dining or chillin'.
The beach is a 2 min walk to enjoy the white sand & sea or a sunset stroll while you watch the dolphins.
Downtown Carrabelle with shops & restaurants is 5 min away; Apalachicola & St George Island are only 30 min.
The space
The Cottage has one bedroom with a comfortable , queen-size bed and closet with room for your clothing.
There is a loft with two twins that can be pushed together to make a king. (Please note, this is a sleeping loft only and ceiling is too short for adults to stand up.)
Enter the cottage through the screened-in porch and outdoor dining. The Living room has a comfy pull out sofa and occasional chair with a TV.
A full size kitchen sits in the center of the cottage and has everything you need to make that perfect meal after a day at the beach.
There is even a full-size washer and dryer, so you can pack lighter for your stay.
Guest access
There is room for two cars to park at the cottage. You can also park your boat at the cottage and park your car on Beacon St or next to the cottage (depending on car size) as long as it is off the street.
Carrabelle Beach is right across HWY 98 about a 2 minute walk, very easy!
Drive west on HWY 98 and St George Island with white sand beaches and turquoise water is less than 30 minutes away.
Apalachicola, about a 20 minute drive, is a must see as well with some very good restaurants and fun shops to explore.
For a shorter trip, visit downtown Carrabelle with it's own restaurants and shops. Our favorite is Fathoms Steam Room and Raw Bar. There are several museums to visit in Carrabelle as well.
Other things to note
The Cottage is part of a quiet, upscale RV park, which includes 4 small cottages and 6 larger bungalows along with RV sites. The cottage sits at the back of the park with only woods behind it so it is very quiet and peaceful without any road noise.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Check out is at 10am.
Please leave the cottage in generally clean condition. Doesn’t have to be spotless, but courteous cleaning is appreciated.
Leave any used towels in front of the washer.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We are now nomads traveling by boat, RV and plane, but originally from France, California, Colorado, and most recently, Florida. Obviously we like to travel but enjoy friends, family, good food and nice wine. We love nature and art and seek out opportunities to see both of these when we travel.

We lived in Carrabelle before becoming nomads and this little RV park is such a delight and the perfect location across from Carrabelle Beach.
What makes this property unique
Our little cottage is peaceful and quiet, and private too as it backs up to the woods. You don't even realize you are in a RV park it's so private and peaceful.
Also, being right across the street from the beach makes it perfect for a quick getaway or an extended vacation. We do accept long term stays, so please reach out if you are interested in month long or more stays.
