The space
With picturesque morning sunrises, enjoy this luxurious 2,200 sf ranch house on 27 PRIVATE ACRES. An elegantly furnished 3-bedroom home which feature 2 king sized beds and 2 sets of custom built bunkbeds.
The kitchen has gorgeous quartz counter-tops and a butcher block island, tile back-splash, standard size appliances, fully stocked coffee bar, and a full house water filtration system. Cook to the view of tiny songbirds hopping through the tree cover just a few feet from the windows of the kitchen and dining room at the feeders that are available year round for them.
Work from the ranch with our Blink 5G internet.
The master bedroom offers extensive views of the pasture through towering wooden barn doors through the living room. The luxurious natural light bathroom features a massive, walk-in shower with two showerheads and a free standing tub for soaking away the stress of the day. Scented shampoos and bath salts are provided for our guests.
The living area features 2 down filled, velvet couches and 2 high backed chairs with a double sided stone fireplace that soars to the ceiling; a 65” flat screen TV with cable; 4 bar stools that pull up to the island and a large table with ghost chair seating for 8.
Plan to take friends or kids? A bunk room featuring a tv and toys make this a perfect getaway for a family looking to spend time together.
A second king sized bedroom in neutral tones is found just a step away from the kitchen with direct access to a second patio. Bring your favorite games or use some of ours. This second covered patio is the perfect place to chat with friends, snuggle up in a blanket with your loved one, or play games until the wee hours of the morning. A firepit is located just steps away from the patio. Roast smores with either the firepit or the tabletop smore maker with the provided smores kit.
A large porch stretches across the front of the house and offers Cedar lounge chairs perfect drinking an early morning cup of coffee while watching for the local wildlife. A picnic table is set just inside the woods to sit and enjoy a meal or relax with family and friends.
***We have cameras/recording devices 24/7 at the road entrance to the house and at the porch facing the pasture to monitor the safety of our cattle herd.
Guest access
You have access to the home and the surrounding lawn and woods (5 acres). The pastures are reserved for the wildlife and cattle. You have total privacy with no nearby homes.
Other things to note
While we are quite a distance away from I-35, depending on the wind conditions it is possible to hear the soft hum of cars on some days.

About the host
Hosted by Melinda Craig

Long time residence to this area of Texas, we have enjoyed raising our family with all the metroplex has to offer from hockey to Six Flags to farm life. We enjoy sharing our love of rural farming with those like ourselves, who need time to get away from our very busy lifestyle for a moment to return to the simplicity of enjoying a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise and the cattle graze.
Why they chose this property
Located on a tree lined road, this ranch is surrounded by other large acreage ranches making it a truly secluded experience. Arrive to the front red gate on a quiet country gravel road. A year round stream crosses underneath the road at the entrance and flows next to the private drive before disappearing into the woodland. Continuing down a private tree lined drive, you arrive at the modern ranch house.
What makes this property unique
Located within one mile of a major highway, this easy to access ranch quickly transports you to complete seclusion and yet has easy access to nearby restaurants and shopping. With only a few ranches as neighbors, no homes can be seen along the drive to the ranch entrance. Two streams converge along two sides of the property providing water to the towering red oaks, pecans and black walnut trees. The home is completely surrounded by woods with a view of the pasture seen from the front porch, dining room and living room through the four sliding glass doors. Most of the metroplex’s popular attractions can be reached easily from the I-35 access just one mile from the ranch entrance.
