This worked out well for our visit to the area, including New River Gorge National Park. We enjoyed learning about the area's coal mining history and paid our respects to those who lost their lives in mining accidents over the years. The house was super clean, the bed was comfy and we were on our way in the morning. No complaints at all.

Great cozy place to spend the night on a long road trip, close to a lot of good restaurants for a bite to eat with a ton of recommendations from the host on where to go and what to do. Was nice and warm when we arrived on a chilly night which made winding down much easier.

We hiked at the new river gorge for a long weekend. The Grove had a comfy bed for a good night rest and had terrific water pressure in the shower! We enjoyed our stay!

Clean property. Very close to New River Gorge National Park. Bed could use a better mattress the one there is very thin. Property is directly next to a major street and it gets quite noisy at night. Water pressure in the shower was excellent. Property is a little difficult to find the first time. Communication with the owner was so-so. He communicated well about the property address and the code before check-in and communicated when I said I had checked out. However, I had sent him a message after I had checked in the first day that he never returned. Thankfully, it wasn’t a big issue. Price was extremely reasonable.

The place was super cute and pretty easy to find. It was so close to New River Gorge National Park/Fayetteville which was perfect for us. Love the box fan in the bedroom. Would stay again!

Actually stayed at a different property by same owner due to an exterior water leak. Owner was very acommodating. Stayed at The Loft instead and it was very nice and clean. Close to National Park.

Very nice home, super clean. There is some road noise as mentioned in other reviews, but nothing too bad. It didn’t wake us up or bother us. Exiting onto the road was a little tricky due to being in a curve. The driver is a bit uneven, but no problem if you don’t have mobility issues. Large rooms, no carpet. I would have given a 5 star, but the bed is not good. The bedframe is metal with a thin mattress. Other than that, wonderful stay! I would definitely stay here again with a better mattress!
