Cute Little Cottege
House was super convenient to many of the activities we wanted to do and places we wanted to go. Very clean, nicely decorated, and somewhat updated. Not a lot of room for parking since we had fairly large vehicles, but we were able to make it work. Owners were easy to contact with questions and were very responsive.

Nice Home, Okay neighborhood
This is a nice, older home in a neighborhood that's okay, but not the greatest. The owners have done a lot to make the home really nice on the inside. They were very hospitable and easy to communicate with. The home was very clean and had plenty of space for our family. The beds are large and comfortable. There are nice dishes and cleaning supplies. The house has two TVs: one in the master bedroom on the first floor and one in the upstairs loft between the two upstairs bedrooms. There are ice trays but no ice maker, but the refrigerator and freezer had ample space for our food. There is only one bathroom. The neighborhood is a bit run-down, but appears to be safe. Our kids did play with neighborhood kids a little bit. The driveway is not really big enough to park in, so parking has to be done on the street. There is enough room to have two cars parked tightly together. At night the blinds need to be closed because there are lights across the street that shine into the windows. I had no problem staying in this neighborhood, which is a bit run-down, but I could see how some who are used to upper middle class suburbia would prefer a different environment.

Great People and a Nice House
Kymberli and Chris were absolutely wonderful all the way through the visit. They met us at the house and gave us keys, walked us through the entire place and pointed out little quirks about the house to ensure our kids safety. They also let us know of our surrounding neighbors and such which was great additional information. Prior to the visit Kymberli wrote an in-depth response to a question I had. She was very thorough and thoughtful and really appreciated all interactions with her. Also met Chris, her husband, and he was also great to work with. As far as the house, it was just as pictured. Well-decorated, decently comfy beds, and a nice little area for the kids upstairs at night while we winded down in the evenings. Kitchen was well stocked with the basics and we didn’t have any problems cooking what we wanted. Would’ve loved to have a 5+ dining room table as the house sleeps 6 but one of us just stood or sat at the desk under the stairs. Only complaint about the house itself was the windows not dampening enough sound outside. Could hear conversations next door through our window at night. The only reason I docked some points was the neighborhood. We never felt unsafe in the neighborhood but this is the nicest house on the street and maybe on the entire block or two. Overall the house was great, just as advertised, and the owners of the VRBO were fantastic to work with. Just be aware that the neighborhood may be a bit rundown.

Quick trip to Cincinnati
It was our first time to Cincinnati. Kymberli was awesome. She was super sweet to secure us a street parking spot for our arrival. She gave us great ideas, pointed us in the right direction for foodie spots, and must see places! The property was as described and comfortable. Our home away from home. It was perfect for our stay!

Great Halfway Point for Our Family
We used Cincinnati/Covington as a halfway point for our family. Wren cottage was the perfect spot. It was clean, comfortable, and central for us. Kymberli was a great host! If we're ever this way again we'll definitely be sure to stay at Wren Cottage.
