We had a great stay, loved the place. Clean, great view, easy access to beach, elevator, and laundry too. Only thing I would add is an additional full length mirror in the living area, bathroom sink was only mirror. But great place would go back!

We had a very good stay at islander and enjoyed the property. The beach access was great and the room was small but all we needed for 2 adults. The big problem was the filthy toilet. The black under the rim told us it had not been scrubbed in a very long time!!! Along with the mold and mildew it was absolutely disgusting! I took a video and pictures for proof to the owners. Also the ac unit caused condensation so much on the floor that it was standing in water every morning. Not a good wake up when you fall to your knees and bum yourself up from slipping in the water.

The pictures of the unit were beautiful. When we arrived we were immediately hit with the smell of marijuana. I messaged the host and the response was they could bring an ozone machine in, which they did the next day. We ran fans and opened the patio door while we were gone to dinner to try and help with the smell. We got back and it was worse. Messaged them asking if we could move to another unit. They stated everything in the area was sold out. I was told twice guest services would reach out and I requested a call. I called the number several times and selected all options only to be forwarded to a line with no voicemail. The unit was dirty. Microwave, oven, office machine, bathroom and ceilings. The ceiling above the bed was brown. Behind the bathroom door was black with dirt. This unit was not worth the price we paid for three nights. This was the third year of me staying at The Islander, but the until was a disappointment.
