River`s Edge Near DuPont State Forest

Welcome to River's Edge!  Located only 3 miles from DuPont State Forest and 10 miles from beautiful Brevard, this newly remodeled, pet-friendly home is perfect for hikers, cyclists, kayakers, families, and lovers of nature and waterfalls.  This private riverside home has a flat driveway and ample parking space for 2-3 cars, 3 bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms.



Once inside, River's Edge has everything needed for a 5-star stay.  The open-concept living are is home to plenty of comfortable seating for cozying up, and a large smart TV for streaming.  The updated kitchen has stainless steel appliances and has been thoughtfully stocked with all the dishes and cookware needed to prepare meals for your group. The dining area off the kitchen is complete with a table and seating for 6.  A full bathroom with stand-up shower and single sink is just off the living area.



All 3 bedrooms in River's Edge share a hallway.  Bedroom 1 is complete with a queen-sized bed.  The second bedroom has a full-sized bed.  A shared bathroom with double sinks and shower/bathtub combo is conveniently located near the bedrooms.  Bedroom 3 is perfect for the smallest members of your crew, with one twin-sized bed and a lofted twin-sized bed! 



When guests are ready to unwind, the outdoor spaces at River's Edge are ideal.  Enjoy your morning coffee and a book from the covered front porch.  A second covered porch is located off the kitchen and is complete with a charcoal grill and outdoor dining table overlooking the flat yard.  After dinner, gather around the fire pit for s'mores, enjoy the backyard creek, or enjoy your favorite games in the large, flat yard!



Guests who want to get out and explore have so many options, right in Cedar Mountain!  Options for food and dining include Cedar Mountain Cafe, Creekside Market & Grill, Cedar Mountain Outpost.  Produce, local meats, and cheeses at Whistle Stop Market make for a fun shopping trip! After a long day of hiking or biking, unwind at Cedar Mountain Canteen Beer Garden or Cedar Mountain Moonshine.  And everyone should spend a day in the quaint, musical town of Brevard, only 10 miles from the home with a plethora of restaurants, coffee shops, and boutique shops.

As your host during your stay, White Squirrel Realty is easy to reach by text or phone.  Each home is supplied with fresh, professionally laundered linens and supplies to make your stay comfortable.  Our cleaning team is local, paid a living wage, and are trained so you can enjoy your vacation in a clean home.  

Confirmed guests will receive a text message to the cell phone number on the reservation.  The text message will contain a link to the digital guest book containing the essential information you will need to enjoy your stay, like directions and door code.  Contactless check in allows guests to go straight to their vacation home at check-in time.

Security Deposits returned within 10 business days of checkout. Pet fee/charge is non refundable.
