Livin' the Dream makes your beach dream vacation a reality. This perfectly located beach cottage gives you the sun, the sand and the sea all in one place. This is the larger of the 2 units in this property with 3 bedrooms 2 baths and full kitchen offers an ideal space for the family vacation. This unit is bright and cheery with a living room that opens onto the outdoor space allowing an uninterrupted view of the sugar sand and the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The shared covered patio is a great space for an outdoor meal or just sitting and relaxing and taking in a sunset.
While you are Livin' the Dream take advantage of being only a short walk away from Bridge Street, you can find restaurants. mini golf, ice cream and shopping. If you are looking to explore more of Anna Maria Island take a ride on the free beach trolley it runs until 10 pm and allows you to go from Coquina Beach to the City Pier at the north end of the Island. Looking forward to a later night get a ride on the Monkey Bus, a ride for tips service they can take you the islands biggest Tiki Bar at the Kokonut Hut known for great food and fabulous sunsets.

Mother’s Day trip

The location was perfect!!! Being right on the beach was the best part!! Beautiful sunsets and nice paddle boards available. The house is a little dated but being beachfront is worth it!!!! Kitchen has all you need and the beds are very comfortable.

I could not speak more highly of any property I have ever stayed! Property management was great communicating easy check in and out, the house was so clean. Had extra beach towels and toys outside. Will be staying again!

WOW!!!

It truly doesn’t get better than this! Walking out to the sand, ocean view and sounds was a dream! We absolutely LOVED our stay here. The home is quaint and the location is amazing! We spent most of our time walking to and from the ocean and hanging out on the porch. All of our excursions, dinning, and snack needs were a short walk away. My only complaint is that we had to leave. Wendy was the BEST host and we are already talking about our next trip back to this property! The home has the basic needs, comfy pillows, fans, and towels. Sharing the community space wasn’t a problem for us. Loved it here!

Great location. Right on the beach. Easy walk to many restaurants — down the beach and on street. Loved the porch for shade most of day. Perfect for sunset viewing. Beds were comfortable and towels luxurious and plentiful. For the price, the rest was just ok. Small. Not luxury. Neighbors light streamed into our bedroom, broken recliner, ice maker didn’t work, lounge chair broken. Small 2nd shower. Wobbly furniture. Dated interior. As long as you temper your expectations, it was a fine place to relax for 10 days.

There is no recliner in the home??? Why say there is one......It can't be broken if if there in no recliner. Refrigerator has been replaced. There is no ice maker in the new one. Pictures describe the bathroom sizes so you should not have been surprised prior to booking and you asked many questions as well prior to booking. We are always happy to answer any and all questions and we prefer it this way "prior to booking". Furniture is also not wobbly..... It is "the house "and It is described as original and old. Please come again. You might miss it.

Location, location, location

This VRBO is centrally located to Bridge Street, restaurants, bars, and shopping. It's along the trolley line so you can literally go wherever you want on the island (until 10 pm). Out the back door the beautiful white sand beach is steps away. The home is actually a double wide just to be clear, but it does have pretty much everything you need. It is cozy, and we knew from previous reviews, that the double bunk bed room was connected to one of the bedrooms. If you are a party of six or more, I would definitely not book this spot if you are thinking you will "make it work." We didn't spend a whole lot of time inside given what was surrounding the property. The only negative thing I could say is that the bathroom situation was a little rough. I think I saw that in one of the reviews as well. The master shower worked great, but the toilet handle is on its last leg...easy fix. The second bathroom shower handle was super stiff, and most everyone gave up trying to find a nice shower temp. It was either hell water hot or cold. Most everyone bathed in the master shower. It was family trip, so not a huge crisis. This was a last minute trip so I felt pretty lucky we got what we did.

Great Beachfront

This is a quintessential beach cottage with no frills (needs updating, especially bathrooms), but certainly came stocked with almost everything you might need. We brought our own chairs and umbrella but there was a beach buggy available, which was so helpful. Would have loved a toaster for morning breakfasts. The listing didn’t describe that the 3rd bedroom is off of one of the bedrooms, requiring entry through one of the two bedrooms. This would be fine with one or two smaller children but our teen preferred to sleep on the couch due to the nature of the set up. We were able to park our two cars no problem. The location is convenient as it is in walking distance to many restaurants and shops, but it comes at the cost of the road outside being very busy so cars can be heard throughout the night and if the next door porch light is on, the bedroom is lit up like a Xmas tree. The property would benefit from blackout blinds. Luckily we brought 3 sound makers and it helped drown out some of the noise. My younger kid seemed to sleep fine. We took advantage of quieter morning traffic and caught the sunrise at Bean Point (20 min away) and had some pretty sunsets right from the porch. Our teen also enjoyed the standup paddle board. The property is very convenient to Coquina Beach which is where we spent time before checkin and after checkout to extend our beach time. Wendy was very responsive and we very much enjoyed our short stay. Would come back again.

Thank you for your review. You did book a rental property steps to bridge street, restaurants, bars, a putt-putt and Cortez beach. There is plenty of activity here, which it why you probably booked this location. Bradenton beach is the "fun" side of the island. There is definitely traffic on the island at the moment as you were aware prior to booking a peak season rental. Hope to see you again. Thank you.
