We fell in Love with the Historic Downtown Harrodsburg, KY area due to its charm and small town feel. We also love the Train and having it be a part of the experience of the home for our guests.
We felt welcomed as we explored this charming small town as it has recently been named as one of Kentucky's most charming towns and favorite small towns by World Atlas. You will feel how friendly and inviting it's citizens are when you visit. This is a perfect weekend getaway to explore the rolling hills, bluegrass horse farms, historical places of interest, and so much more!

Welcome to the Historic Pawling home known as, "The Railroad House" on the Bourbon Trail. A beautifully 240 yr old restored historic home on the Bourbon Trail just 2 blocks from Old Harrod State Park in charming Downtown Harrodsburg. (KY Heritage Jazz Festival)
This home is positioned perfectly to 11 of the 18 signature bourbon distilleries under an hour or less. Near state parks, historic landmarks, Herrington Lake, wedding venues, Shaker Village, Keeneland, golf, horse farms, rolling hills, colleges, and more.
We Love that it has been renovated to maintain it's history while bringing modern day conveniences to travelers. We Love it's location near the tracks, love sitting out back on the 2 porch swings and it's location near the Bourbon Trail and Old Fort Harrod State Park.
Our unique home on a corner lot offers off street parking for up to 3-5 cars, has 2 electric fireplaces, an outdoor firepit, 2 porch swings on our back deck with night lights – a great place to gather in the evenings. New super comfy hybrid and memory foam mattresses and bedding for all beds. The master bed includes a 3" memory foam cooling gel topper. Smart TVs in every bedroom including the living room. Sound machines and ear plugs are provided to help soothe you to sleep. A new washer and dryer are onsite. Walking distance to charming downtown Harrodsburg where quaint shops and restaurants can be found.
Our home has 3 bedrooms with sleeping for up to 9. We have a King with a memory foam cooling gel topper in the Master, 2 Queens with hybrid mattresses located in the 2 bedrooms upstairs, 1 full size daybed and a twin trundle in the living room. Both bathrooms are located on the first floor as this is a story and half historic home.
Our dining room transforms into a speakeasy Poker Room with bourbon and wine glasses, an electric fireplace w/blower, poker mat, cards, and chips all just waiting for your group to dim the lights and let the games begin.
