Hawk Mountain Modern Lodge is a new (2023) custom-built luxury retreat in the heart of the Smoky Mountains between Wears Valley & Pigeon Forge. The lodge features luxury accommodations with a Mountain Modern design theme. It is well-appointed with everything you need to enjoy a trip to the mountains. Relax and enjoy the luxurious reclaimed wood furnishings from Pottery Barn, West Elm, Restoration Hardware, Four Hands, and more! It's a great gateway to Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

The lodge is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in the private gated luxury cabin community of Walden's Ridge.

Located in the Luxury Cabin Community of Walden's Ridge. Here you'll enjoy the privacy of a gated community. Most lots are over 1 acre in size, so there's no need to worry about your neighbors being too close!

☆☆ CANCELLATION POLICY & TRIP INSURANCE ☆☆

We encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that will affect their trip. No refunds will be given due to weather, natural disasters, travel delays, or cancellations. No exceptions will be made to the cancellation policy in place at the time of booking.

We have partnered with RentalGuardian to give our guests easy access to travel insurance choices when they book with us. We do not sell travel insurance nor receive a commission; this is fully for the benefit of our guests.

☆☆ PARKING & CHARGING ☆☆

Parking for up to 4 vehicles is readily available on the large driveway with easy access. We provide a Tesla Gen3 Wall Connector EV Charger 🔌 for guests to use.

☆☆ CLEANING FEE ☆☆

The only fee we charge is a cleaning fee. This fee goes directly to the family that cleans the property between each stay and is designed to be a Fair Living Wage. Between each stay the property is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, and all towels and linens are replaced with fresh clean towels/linens that have been freshly laundered.

☆☆ WINTER ACCESS ☆☆

While it's very rare, during winter storm conditions 4WD and/or snow chains may be necessary to access the property. All roads leading to the property are paved.

Upstairs had to many ladybugs. Even crawling on the beds. It rain very bad, and because the gutter up at the top is not finished. The rain hitting on the tin roof, sounded like a gun. Other than that the cabin was awesome.

This was the perfect cabin for our family trip. We had 10 adults and a toddler. There was PLENTY of space in the cabin. We all enjoyed meals together at the large table, family game night in the spacious living room, and roasted marshmallows over the fire. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. Every room had its own bathroom which was a definite plus and time saver. Oh and the views being at the top of the mountain were gorgeous. The hosts were great and very responsive. Highly recommend!

Our 50th Anniversary celebration at the lodge was great.

The lodge is beautiful and very comfortable. As a fully stocked place we found it very accommodating and comfortable. The amenities are very good. Our group of fourteen was adequately housed with plenty of sleeping arrangements. The scenery around the lodge is beautiful and Smokey Mountain National Park is readily accessible. Good place to stay.

My family of 4 travelled from Chicago to visit the beautiful Smoky Mountains for the first time. We were looking for a house that was nestled in nature with modern features, fun things to do in the house and proximity to hiking. When we entered the gated community, we made our way up the mountain along the winding, scenic rode and arrived at a cul de sac where the Hawk Mountain Modern Lodge sits. We were so excited to get inside and explore the house! The main room has vaulted ceilings and rustic modern features. The kitchen is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable each with their own bathroom. The hosts provide plenty of towels which was appreciated as well as shampoo/conditioner and shower gel. There are 2 decks - one with an outdoor fireplace, grill and cornhole. The other with a cozy swing and hot tub. One of the highlights was sitting with my son every morning sipping our coffee and staring out at the incredible view. The hot tub is awesome to come home to after a long day of hiking and the patio lights provided a nice ambiance. The lower level has a pool table and arcade game which provided nightly entertainment. It really was the perfect house for us and when we return to the area, we wouldn't hesitate to book it again. We never felt like we were very far from anything we wanted to do. The drive was always so picturesque so we weren't in a rush. We hiked a lot, biked, spent a day at Dollywood, rode the Alpine Coaster and ate at some good restaurants. We had such a good time that we stayed an extra day. Lots of memories made!! We'll be back.

EXCELLENT CABIN!!!

I rented this cabin for our annual Girls Trip. We had ended up with 10 women this year - this is the best cabin we have ever rented. There are plenty of bathrooms and lots of luxury space. We really enjoyed the robes, thick towels, and kitchen supplies. The coffee is EXCELLENT!!! We will definitely be renting this one again!

We all completely enjoyed the house! The teenagers and younger kids enjoyed the pool table and hot tub really the total bottom floor. Beautiful Home

A beautiful property, very well appointed with luxurious finishes. Great layout for our large family (5 adults and 6 children) to spend a week together. A lot of attention to detail, particularly with the fully equipped kitchen. Away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough for enjoying several great hikes in the park. I like going for walks/jogs when I travel, and I loved this location for this! The house is in a gated community and is at the top of the hill, so I got a great hills workout in, running down and back up to the house—all in the safety of a gated community. --The rooms were all super clean. --The coffee was a nice brand, too. --It's about 15 minutes into the main part of Pidgeon Forge, which is nice. Overall, it was a nice, quiet place to stay, and I really enjoyed our girl's weekend there. I'd for sure come back there.
