Stunning vacation rental across from the ocean in Carlsbad!

There is an ocean view from every room!

4 bedroom / 3 bath private home (2,100 square feet)

*****There is construction on the upper Carlsbad beach sidewalk until late spring 2026 and then again during the winter and spring of 2027. They are replacing stairways to the beach and widening sidewalks. Nearby access points to the beach are still open and the lower seawall sidewalk on the beach is open. We are happy to confirm details and progress.*****

Just across the street from the sand! Contemporary finishes - commercial appliances, retractable walls, forced air heating and air conditioning, large patio with 2 natural gas fire pits and grill , Smart TVs, super-fast and reliable internet/wi-fi...

There is no carpeting in these units -- just luxurious bamboo and porcelain floors.

The units are fully furnished, the kitchens fully equipped. All linens and beach towels are provided. We have beach chairs, umbrellas, Boogie Boards, and sand toys. We also provide four beach cruisers to share.

NO SMOKING and NO PETS PERMITTED anywhere on the premises.

The beach is right across the street, and you can walk to restaurants, the charming village shops, the farmers' market and nightlife are all nearby!

Day Trips to: Legoland - San Diego Zoo - Sea World - San Diego Wild Animal Park - Disneyland - La Jolla Cove - casinos - wineries.

Shop at the Carlsbad Outlet Mall or at The Shoppes at Carlsbad.

4th of July in Carlsbad

We were able to celebrate the 4th at the wonderful Seaside home in Carlsbad, CA. The check-in process was seamless. The house had everything we needed and more. Easy to entertain, just take in a day at the beach, or explore the area. Communication with the property manager was easy and helpful. I've been going back to Carlsbad for many summers and this was by far the best place we've stayed. We're hopeful to return.

Excellent Vacation Rental

We rented the entire house for 4 nights. My husband and I and our 20 month old son stayed in the Pelican Suite (upstairs) and our friends and their 20 month old daughter stayed in the Dolphin Suite (main floor). The house was amazing! Located right across the street from the beach and walking distance to lots of stores and restaurants, the location was perfect. The house has modern, high end finishes with lots of windows providing great views of the beach, ocean and sunsets. Garage parking, laundry room, use of beach toys, bikes, etc....this place has everything you need for a great family vacation. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home with a great location

The home is lovely and well stocked with everything needed for a wonderful beach vacation. The management team is also very responsive. We highly recommend this rental with one exception. The street noise is a definite issue if you want to enjoy the patio. When inside the home with the doors/windows shut the home is very quiet, but the traffic on the street in front of the house is loud when sitting on the patio. Definitely not a deal breaker but we wanted to make people aware.

Wonderful Vacation

We couldn't have asked for a better location. The crosswalk to the beach access is directly off the patio. It's also close enough to the Village that you are able to walk to restaurants, shops, etc. We had little need for our car. The Dolphin Suite was perfect for our family. It was very modern and updated, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The bedrooms were good sized. Even with the main road right outside the door, it was not too loud during the day with the doors closed and wasn't loud at night at all...something we seek out with our small kids going to bed pretty early. The laundry facilities were very handy and were equipped with detergent. My only caution with the Dolphin Suite was that you can hear every step the people staying upstairs are taking. We had a family of 3 staying upstairs during our visit, so not many people, and it was still very noticeable. Even so, I would still highly recommend this property! One item to note, the cleaning fee is to be paid upon check-out, not upfront. Be sure you have cash on hand for this.

Amazing Home

The house was just breathtaking. The views from the top floor were just amazing!!! Definitely a great beach experience. The house was well stocked with everything you would need to cook your own meals. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for the perfect get away.

3-generation Family Vacation

This house is phenomenal and in a fabulous location. We hope to stay there again in the future. We had 3 families staying in the entire house. A family of 4 with two teens had the downstairs and two families of two each had the upstairs with two baths. It worked perfectly. We cooked big meals upstairs where the whole family of 8 could sit together. Family of four had their own kitchen for breakfasts and lunches. Kitchens were well stocked with dishes and utensils and pots and pans. Trash bags and paper towels provided. Owner needs to stock Kleenex as well. Most Vrbo owners do. Beach chairs, umbrellas and boogey boards were very high quality. House’s location right on Carlsbad Blvd was perfect!!!! It was right at the crosswalk and straight down to the beach. Beach steps were very easy to do even for seniors and for hauling lots to the beach. Couldn’t have been any better of a location. Not noisy at night even with street right in front. Lots of people to watch during the day. We spent each night at the fire pits making s’mores and each evening doing appetizers at the table that sat the whole family. Plenty of chairs. Two balconies - one with 4 chairs and BBQ. Might want to bring chairs for other balcony. Garage and driveway parking made parking easy for our three cars and when relatives visited. I highly recommend this Vrbo.

We have stayed in many wonderful vacation homes over the years and this one didn’t disappoint! Perfect location, beach access, a stunning view and room enough for our entire family of 10. Six adults and four children. We rented both units but spent most our time in the upstairs unit because of the view, nicely appointed kitchen, where we made dinner every night, plus a comfortable family room. Bedrooms are small but all bedrooms have king size beds which is hard to find and a plus in my book. No one had to fight for the bedroom with the king bed for a change! Garage was stocked with beach chairs, boogey boards, bikes, sand toys and more. We brought our own but didn’t need too. A couple of negatives but nothing that would keep us from recommending this home or stop us from going back, and I hope to do just that! The property managers, especially Jenny who we worked with was available to answer questions or bring us a few more towels when we asked for them and anything else we needed. Jenny was very caring, thoughtful and easy to work with, wanting us to have a good time, which we did. We just got home and unpacked. Already missing Carlsbad!

Special home on the ocean

We stayed in the lower 2 bedroom unit for one week starting February 3. Unit is just as pictured and is a very nice option for staying in the area north of San Diego. The furnishings and the bed were very comfortable and all of the appliances in the unit were of excellent quality. The knives were sharp, the coffee maker was a Cuisinart, the laundry machines were top of the line. The kitchen was extremely well furnished and all previous renters have left a wide variety of spices to use. Some coffee was furnished, enough for 2 days and detergents for all appliances (dishwasher and laundry) were included. We were very happy to have chosen the lower unit as the stairs could have been an issue for us 75 year olds. The outside fire pit was very nice and the outdoor furniture was perfect. The location of the unit was perfect in our exploration of the coast, close to everything, much in walking distance. We took the Coaster train to San Diego for the day, a perfect way to visit the city. The only thing we disliked was the traffic on the road in front of the house. We knew the road (4 lane) was there and were prepared for it, but sometimes the noise was bothersome. Nevertheless, we would highly recommend this property. It is a gem.

Modern, beautiful property overlooking Carlsbad beach

My husband and I stayed at the lower Dolphin Suite for 4 nights. It is a very nice property with beach chairs, bicycles, a great laundry room, etc. As mentioned, you can park in the garage. It's great. Parking is tight nearby, so there is no stress about parking. We had a couple of issues. A phone call to Patrick and both issues were resolved the same day. The Dolphin Suite has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It was perfect for the two of us. It would also work well for a couple with two smaller children.

Everything you could possibly need!

We rented the entire house out for a week and were amazed at the location, the property, and staff that greeted us. They were friendly and showed us everything that was available to us. The house came with all the beach stuff you could possibly need, two beach cruisers for rides into the little downtown area, and overall amazing amenities! We slept 8 comfortably! The beds were great, the kitchens were spacious, and the outdoor amenities were perfect. Even the parking was fantastic and we easily parked 4 cars in the garage and driveway. We really could not have chosen a more luxurious and well-appointed location for our big family vacation. Thanks so much for the wonderful stay!

The Most Beautiful Sunsets

We rented both floors for the whole family prior to a son's wedding in Carlsbad. Most of the out of town guests stayed at the Inn so the location worked perfectly for entertaining. We made it a point to see every sunset while we were there from the 2nd floor balcony. The place was beautiful. I can't wait to go back. The listing description was exactly as advertised. I would recommend this place to friends and relatives.

You will not be disappointed!

My husband and I rented the Pelican Suite (which is the upstairs suite of the house.) There are unobstructed 180 degree ocean views. It is simply breathtaking! We saw dolphins swimming each morning from the comfort of our living room and even saw a whale spouting offshore. The finishes are all top end and tastefully done. I am not a cook, but the kitchen has high end appliances and is well equipped with nearly every gadget you will need. You can easily walk to town for dinner. Patrick and Missy made the booking and check in process a breeze. Our deposit check was returned to us within three days of our return home. There was a young couple with a toddler downstairs in the Dolphin suite during the majority of our stay, and we did not hear a sound. The place is incredibly well insulated and private. Of note, this home is across the street from the beach and the road is very busy. Please DO NOT let this deter you. This unit is very quiet when closed up for evening, and the views more than make up for the busy street. The pedestrian crossing is right out the front door with stairs leading directly down to the beach. There are surfboards, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas provided. As well as, buckets, frisbees and shovels for any kids. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the linens top notch. I am very picky, and this home more than exceeded our expectations. I hesitate to write such a good review out of fear that the home will not be available when we want to return! We will certainly book this home again. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!
