Lake Erie and all of its glory are steps from this great unit at the Put-in-Bay Poolview Condos. This prime location features three and a half acres and over 500 feet of prime lakefront property. Just a mile from downtown. A lakeside pool, large grassy area and dock complete this great area. Stepping inside the condo unit, guests are welcomed to a lovely open plan. The kitchen, living and dining spaces are combined, giving the unit great flow and ease for entertaining. All the items you will need to prepare and serve a meal can be found in the kitchen. Making a few meals during your PIB getaway is an excellent way to save some money while on vacation. There are two bedrooms and two full bathrooms in this condo, with sleeping for up to eight guests. The Put-in-Bay Poolview Condos on the shores of the Lake Erie are a great place to call home during your next trip to the islands. With a superb location and comfortable accommodations, the choice is quite clear. This unit can be rented with adjoining units to house your large group. Also, taxi service is available to take your group anywhere on beautiful Put-in-Bay.
The weekends at Put in Bay Ohio are popular for the nightlife and getting away from the daily work grind without going too far from home. During the week, you can relax and enjoy Put-In-Bay's slower pace in a family friendly atmosphere. The condo was clean, and the common areas like the grill, the pool, are very nice as well.The mattresses were not comfortable at all; but that's a matter of personal preference. Overall, great price for a spacious condo, vs a hotel room.The staff is very nice too and if it's your first time on the island, they'll guide you to all the good places.

Other than that everything good..

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Booking was easy. Most things were supplied with our stay, excepts sheets/towels/hair dryer. Bring extra blankets, the comforter was small, and it was colder in the evening. Bring beach towels for the pool! You WILL need either a golf cart (recommend) or car to get anywhere. You are far from downtown or any stores/bars. At night there are NO lights around the property. Pool is dark and so is the parking lot etc. Felt like a safety concern. If you wanted to walk to Joe's (closest bar) bring flashlights but I would recommend just driving or bike if you have a headlight. I really wish there was an option for Early check-in. Check in at 4:00 PM was late for us and not very convenient. We were there for a sailing competition and needed to be on the Island by 10:00 AM. Management was not on-site, and no option was given to arrive earlier.

A big spider web on the ceiling in the living room. The porch was covered in cobwebs and dead mayflys. The dishes were dirty from the previous guest, like put away filthy. Everything needed cleaned, washed and disinfected upon arrival. We rented sheets and linens and the sheets had holes in them. The pillows are disgusting and the beds are uncomfortable. We woke up with hip and back pain every morning which is not something we usually experience. The floors felt like they’ve never been mopped. Just overall a very disappointing experience at a premium price.
