A Place at the Bay—Out the Way | 12 ppl | IC100

Privacy is the key with this great Put-in-Bay vacation home. Located in a private section of Jeris Lane (second house on the left past the little shed), this home sleeps up to twelve guests with the four bedrooms and two baths. Park your car in the concrete driveway, with space for up to two vehicles. The door has a coded electronic door lock, making it very easy for you and your guests to access the home. Stepping inside, guests enter into the kitchen. The kitchen comes complete with everything you will need to prepare and serve a delectable meal. Cooking a meal or two during your Put-in-Bay stay is an excellent way to curb some costs. There is a dining room and two separate seating areas on either side of it. One seating area comes with a flat-screen television with DirecTV. There are two brick patio areas that can be accessed via sliding glass doors. One patio comes with a propane grill and outdoor seating area.

The Island Club at PIB is the premier lodging choice. The amenities and space that one gains by choosing a home versus a hotel are numerous. Remember to book your dates early as many popular weekends sell out fast. The bedding in this house is as follows: 2 Queen (1st BR), Full/Full Bunk (2nd BR), Full (3rd BR), Full& Twin (4th BR).


The weekends at Put in Bay Ohio are popular for the nightlife and getting away from the daily work grind without going too far from home. During the week, you can relax and enjoy Put-In-Bay's slower pace in a family friendly atmosphere. Great property!

Place was a great place to stay, not the closest place to the center of everything down but just a short taxi ride or golf cart ride away. Great property and host.

Awesome mini vacay!

We had a blast while we were on the island. Our house was super nice and tucked back alone from the rest of the island club community. The only downfall was that the public beach on the island was closed due to construction. The kids were prettty bummed about that

The house was nicer than the pictures on the vrbo app so that was a nice surprise. Overall the house served its purpose and I would for sure come back and rent again!

I definitely will book with them again the house was nice and clean.. the only thing I did not like that the shower head was so rusted that my friends was scared to take a shower in that bathroom so we all use the other bathroom shower but we still had a great time and a wonderful stay

The island lost power Friday night and a little Saturday morning but they fixed the issue quickly. The only thing that wasn’t convenient was that the location of the home does not give good cell phone service to Verizon carriers. Overall it was a great stay! If you are taking a large group, I would recommend it!

Island life does come with limited cell service at times but the good news is that the house has WiFi so you can always connect to the WiFi for full cell phone use. Thanks for staying in our home!

The House is just over a mile from the bars. Don't get golf carts just do cabs, save yourself a DUI (my group was safe). Check in/out was very simple. People in the office were very helpful. Get ALL of your supplies before going to the island!

Our 3 adult children came for part of the trip with friends. The location was good for us. Away from the downtown area but close enough to get there with the golf cart (which we highly recommend). The sliding glass doors were hard to open and close and the jacuzzi tub in the master bath did not work. We would also suggest that the gutters on the house be cleaned regularly. It rained very hard one day and the water poured over onto the patio areas and left standing water. The water could also leak under the siding and cause real damage.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: look at the picture. In reality it's a trailer with no trees, no grass, no handle to get out of front door, no privacy. That driveway goes to the maintenance area with trucks and carts going by all day and night. Septic system is also there somewhere which needed a lot of work. The smell was so bad we couldn't be outside half the time.. Grill was filthy with no brush. One tub had slimy black stuff caked in it. We cleaned the patio in backyard which has an old boat parked in it. Trash was full and fly infested upon arrival. On the brighter side, they did refund half of our money.

not what we expected

Reviewer Comments: when we arrived.. we wanted to cook out.. but the grill was so nasty and dirty and the center burner did not work.. we could not use it.. also there were many light bulbs missing.. a sign on the door saying no fires but the fireplace was left with fresh ashes in it, not cleaned as well..also the outside light was burned out.. there was also so much mold and mildew on the outside of the home siding and in the tracks of the sliding glass doors.. both sets.. very disappointing.. we got it at a discount and we got upgraded, still paid too much for what we encountered. and there was a very loud motor humming 24/7 from behind the home and construction on 3 sides of it so you could not sit outside and enjoy peace and quiet.

The only thing we found when we arrived wrong was the door on the cupboard in the small bathroom was off. Also when you took a shower or washed a dish the water is extremely hot. Even with these couple of things we would definatley stay again. It is far enough out of town that you can sit out and relax without all of the hustle and bustle but it is close enough to be in all of the excitement in a few minutes. The house is very secluded away from any young crowds.

Jerry worked this all out for us and provided us with the perfect accomodation for our group. The cottage was nice and clean and cool when we entered which was great as it was about 100 outside.
