Spacious 3 bedroom, 2 full baths, with hot tub, fireplace and outdoor deck. The deck invites you to relax next to the twin maple trees and enjoy the hot tub, rocking chairs and dinette set with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. This property is a duplex, completely private with the 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths located on the second floor, providing more privacy from the main floor. The outside deck and hot tup are completely private and exclusive to this side of the duplex. There are no shared spaces except for parking. Just 11 minutes to nearest winery and only 20 minutes to Giant City State Park, and close to many wineries. Set in the little town of Anna, with walking distance to shops and resarants. This cozy home is the perfect retreat to come back to after a day of exploring the beautiful Shawnee Hills and wineries.

Prime location in Anna for all the businesses and restaurants. We spent most of our time in the backyard which was heavenly!The house was older and had lots of character. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay, traveling with three generations of our family. The place was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and everything was so comfortable. There was plenty of room for us to relax together, and room for people to spend time by themselves. Sadly we didn't get to use the hot tub, maybe next time we're in the area. What a charming home.

This place was perfect for a winter getaway. Plenty of space with three bedrooms and two full baths, plus a cozy fireplace and hot tub that we really enjoyed during the snowy weather. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the deck was a nice touch. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Great experience overall. Would recommend, and we will use this place again.

First off Kathy is great at communicating with you. This property is a 2story duplex on a very loud stretch of town, it’s even caddy corner to a police station! With that being said it is a noisy duplex between road noise and police sirens even with fans on to try to block out the noise. We can’t comment on the hot tub due to it being broke down. The house is very dated with window units and very old kitchen appliances, the newest thing in the houses is the refrigerator! The jacuzzi tub in the bathroom was nice until 5mins after draining it. There is a bunch of sludge that comes from somewhere and then we found these small bugs that were in the tub, bathroom floors and walls. Quite gross!!!! All of the bathrooms are upstairs also. There are three bedrooms and one of the three window units didn’t work. Long story short if your looking for a quiet get away, this is not it!

All issues addressed: 1. Police station is more than a block away and cannot be seen from the house. In this small town, you might hear a siren twice a week. 2. The hot tub has been repaired as soon as parts came in, 3 days after it malfunctioned. 3. Please check my photos on this site and see the kitchen is up to date with all modern appliances. 4. The bathroom drains have been cleaned and no sludge was found. No drains were stopped up. 5. The house has been treated by a professional exterminator, from the attic to the basement. They are contracted to repeat this service every 6 weeks. 6. The a/c unit mentioned was not broke, it was mistakenly set to the warmest temp control and the warmest ventilation. All a/c units in each bedroom are in top working condition. 7. Each bedroom is equipped with a noise machine for the light sleeper.
