It had very spacious rooms. Living area as well as the bedrooms.It was also very quiet staying there.I felt it was much cheaper to stay there than it would have been at a hotel.

Wonderful Hideaway

My stay was incredible. The hosts were so accommodating and allowed an early check in since my flight came in much earlier than originally planned. The stay was so quiet and cozy. Tucked away in the woods quiet and peaceful that you couldn’t even tell you were a short drive to the city. Plenty of items that made my stay useful and provided all the amenities including shampoo, conditioner, soap and many more things! I will definitely be recommending and hopefully booking again in the future.

Was exactly as pictured and described. Everything was clean and new, Wi-Fi was fast, projector for TV provided, response to messages was outstanding and service couldn't have been better. We asked for more towels near the end of our visit and they were there in under 10 minutes with pleasant communication throughout.

Communication with the host was very good prior to our stay. We did not engage in communication once we arrived due to our busy schedule. The main bedroom window treatment left one side exposed to the outside as the blinds were about 4” too narrow and sheer curtains covered the gap and gave us zero privacy. The room with the twin beds had sheer curtains as well and provided zero privacy to that space and the bathroom without closing the door. The bathroom did not have a heat source so the shower was very cold. The bathroom was very, very small with no room to even set a make-up bag. The place was clean. 5 hangers were provided, no closets.

Loved our stay, cute cottage

My wife and I were traveling with our daughter for a wedding in the area. I stumbled across this cute cottage. The host was wonderful and answered any questions my wife or I had (mostly about local places to visit with our toddler)

A Perfect Spot

The Modern Cottage is a clean, nicely set up and is a perfect fit for a family of 4 (or 5 in a pinch) and has everything you need. Situated near Lake Stevens, Marysville and historic Snohomish. Granite Falls, who bills themselves as the Gateway to the Mountain Loop, is just a short drive away.

Long Weekend stay

Everything was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed as we were mostly with family. The coffee, teas, sugar and creamer were a great help as well as soap and shampoo. Location also worked well as it was close to family, things we were doing and easy to get to.

From Oakdale, CA to Lake Stevens.

We all were very comfortable, and especially liked the projector on the wall. It's in a very pleasant and convenient location. Since we stayed three nights, we brought our own electric griddle for sausage and eggs in the morning. Thank you for all the special little touches which made us feel welcome and at home.

Great place

We enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and bright. My son loved the trundel bed and projector. The beds were very comfortable and warm. I especially liked the blanket and pillows on the queen bed. The coffee, water and chocolates was so nice. Thank you for having a cozy place.

Perfect home base for our visit

Stayed for a week while visiting friends nearby, who are currently living in an RV. So, we had to find accommodations and there was nothing else in that area. Glad we picked it. It was the perfect little spot for us to wash up and sleep before heading out for the next day of adventures. Also enjoyed the projector for some downtime entertainment.

Cutest and Coziest

This cottage is beautifully done. Clean, warm, cozy and home feeling. Restaurants and marketplaces around the corner for convenience. The hosts were absolutely amazing checking in with us to make sure our stay was comfortable and we didnt need anything additional. There was coffee, creams, and teas which was an amazing perk. There are books, TV, movies, cards and a projection for movies etc. Quiet home and a beautiful yard. Thank you for an unforgettable memory.

Debating the overall review score

The check in, management, cleanliness, and location are all 5 star I debated on giving the overall reciew 3 or 4 stars because of comfortable sleeping arrangements. Didn't get alot of sleep. Beds were very uncomfortable. The twin beds were thin mattresses on plywood. The main bed felt like an old used mattress. Tried sleeping on the couch but that was not comfortable. Accuracy gets 4 stars for no AC in the main area. TV was a projector on the wall.

We got there really late and it was only 22 degrees when we landed. When we got there it was freezing in the cottage and never warmed up the whole time. The bathroom had a draft coming from somewhere and sitting on the toilet was frightening. The place is really nice but so cold. I wish someone would have turned on the heat so it would have a least been somewhat warm.

This little (not so little) cottage was PERFECT, had more room inside than we were expecting, the amenities were great, and the hosts had everything perfectly set up for our arrival. We were within minutes from all the places we going to, easy the get to, and quiet (occasional traffic noise but very infrequent). This cottage is at the top of our list the next time we go back the Lake Stevens area.
