A World Away is a massive luxurious lakefront home with 3.5 acres and 600 feet of shoreline with incredible long-range views of the Public Side of Lake Anna. Ideal for family gatherings or large groups because it has ~7,567 sqft and 8 bedrooms including 5 spacious suites, a furnished deck, hot tub, firepit, large yard, and sandy beach. Indoors, entertainment abounds with pool table, ping pong, foosball, and a home movie theater. During your stay enjoy easy access to swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, and more!

**Additional Information:**
- All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
- Quiet Hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM.
- Free Parking for up to 14 Vehicles. (No Parking or Driving on Grass)
- No Events Allowed without specific prior approval.
- No Pets Allowed without specific prior approval.

**Guest Requirements:**
Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
Important: Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Spectacular home for large groups

This home is amazing. We had multiple generations from ages 1 to 75 and everyone had a great time. With the multiple living spaces and activities this home provided there was something for everyone to do. Best family vacation ever.

Great place to stay

The house was beautiful great location. The windows on the outside were covered with Spider webs and the deck furniture were covered with ants. Other than that, it was a great place to stay and would go back there in the future.

Incredible Lake Anna Retreat!

We were celebrating a large bachelorette, and we could not have chosen a better property! The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive from the very beginning. The house is STUNNING and has all of the amenities you could ever want. We would really love to come back :)

House was perfect for our family reunion of 17. It was just as advertised. Lots of activities to keep the teenagers occupied. Loved the outdoor spaces. House was clean. Check in and check out was super easy. Had a few questions while we were there which were answered promptly.

Family Retreat

We rented this beautiful lake house for a weekend family retreat to celebrate our matriarch’s 75th birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience! The house was exactly as listed, with stunning views of the lake and plenty of cozy spaces for the family to gather. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals together, and the spacious living areas provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. We enjoyed evenings by the fire pit, sharing stories and laughter under the stars. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend this lovely retreat for anyone looking to create special memories with loved ones!

This is very beautiful house and it has everything you need for your entertainment and comfort. It was very clean and well maintained house. The hosts really cares for their guests. Five Star Retreat Destination

Planned a retreat for my team, and this place did not disappoint! Plenty of space to work and relax, it also provided enough rooms and bathrooms for everyone to have their own private space. Plenty of games and activities right on property. All the necessities are provided. Just book and relax! We will be back for sure! The place was awesome and the host was incredible to work with. Highly recommend.

Beyond Expectations

The home is simply stunning with the most amazing views. The layout is very spacious with multiple suites and even two apartment style rooms w/kitchenettes to allow for maximum privacy. We visited in November and it was beautiful. I can only imagine how wonderful a visit in the warmer months would be with the lake and outdoor activities. The hosts really thought of everything providing many amenities in the kitchen and pantry. I highly recommend this home.

Spectacular Views and Amazing Home

We have stayed at many homes around Lake Anna and this home, by far, exceeded our expectations. We always require 8+ bedrooms and this is the BEST home layout we have ever experienced! Untouchable! The kitchen and living space are center stage with the most incredible views of the lake. The home is at the tip of a point, so you get the views of the entire lake with a beautiful beach! We stayed in January and with the expansive parking, drive around and various entry doors it was so easy to arrive! Communication with the host was superb. Informational notes around the home gave clear direction and the amenities in the kitchen, bedrooms and each bathroom were great! We loved the bedroom touch with the towels on each bed as well! Fireplaces were fun, warm and made the stay! The movie room was super fun and games downstairs made it a ton of fun for everyone. If you get a chance to stay here, do not pass it up! Can't wait for us to return in the future and stay longer...... Thank you so much for a beautiful experience!

Perfect Spring Vacation

We travelled to see family for Easter in the DC area and rounded out our trip at ‘A World Away’. Our teenagers were thoroughly entertained. We enjoyed the serenity and beautiful finishes of the home. You can be as busy or lazy as you like at this home. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic Stay at a Beautiful Property!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The home was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was incredibly responsive and provided great local recommendations. Paradise on Earth

This beautiful vacation house has absolutely everything! From the cozy warm beds, to the refreshing lake in the backyard. 😊 The house was big enough to host our party of 20! You don’t need to bring anything! The kitchen, game room, movie Theater room, and kids play room are well equipped. We loved it so much , we plan to make this an annual Visit.
