The space
Great Downtown Location, but on a Mountain side overlooks the twin square or Hiawassee (an Appalachian Trail community) Remarkable Cabin with a grand view of Lake Chatuge and The Mountains. When you enter, you immediately feel at home. Relax in the great room and enjoy the fantastic view thru the newly replaced Jen-Weld windows. Beautiful wood floors and ceiling, stone gas fireplace, new appliances. This spacious 3 Bedroom/3 Bath was built for making memories!

The driveway is winding and all uphill. If your turning radius isn’t very forgiving, you may need to go past the driveway, turn around and turn left into the driveway. We have driven a 4 Runner, GMC 2500, a Honda Accord and a Ford Explorer without issues

Fireplace is available for use during the months of October thru April.

False advertising

The whole reason I chose this cabin is because it showed a hot tub on the amenities. I reached out to the host and asked where the hot tub was and while I waited for them to respond I called VRBO. The girl on VRBO couldn’t understand English and spoke very little but she said that it had a hot tub. The host responded and said there wasn’t one. That’s the last I heard from the host. The hot tub is not on the amenities anymore but I got a picture before it was removed. That was false advertising and should get some kind reimbursement or another stay somewhere with a hot tub. The cabin did have great views. When we first arrived there was a wadded up hand towel and hand lotion sitting next to the bed. Don’t even want to know what that was about.

Weekend Get Away

The cabin was great and the views were AMAZING!! Exactly as described and Dana (host) is a great communicator. With it being October and the leaves changing the view of the lake even more spectacular! Would definitely book again.
