The Space:

National Park Nest is your cozy Kanab retreat for family fun! Experience the perfect blend of comfort and space in our stylish split-level home. Hke or sighsee in Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, or the Grand Canyon. Kayak down the Colorado River and explore Horseshoe bend from the bottom-up, taking in vast red rock cliffs. Take an adventure tour at the Coral Pink Sand Dunes state park, or repel into one of many slot canyons. There is plenty to do in southern Utah.



Upstairs, you'll find a cozy living room with a Smart TV; the ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring southern Utah. Prepare your favorite home-cooked meals in the fully-equipped kitchen, and gather around the dining table or counter bar to dine in style.



The upper level features two bedrooms and a freshly renovated bathroom. Enjoy a restful night's sleep in the primary bedroom with a deluxe king bed or the second bedroom with a plush queen bed.



Get ready for endless fun downstairs! Kids and adults will find plenty to enjoy. The game room is a haven for gamers and fun-seekers alike. With classic arcade machines, a dartboard, and a variety of board games, and a smart TV, there's something for everyone.



The lower level offers more sleeping options with two bedrooms, as well as another full bathroom. Enjoy a cozy queen bed in one room or the fun of a bunk room with two sets of twin bunk beds in the other.



If you need to work, we have a dedicated workspace downstairs as well as a laundry room with full capacity machines.



Enjoy the spacious yard, perfect for kids and pets alike. Our fenced backyard ensures your furry friend stays safe. Capture unforgettable moments at our dedicated photo spot. As the sun sets, gather around the fire pit and soak in the stunning starry sky. There's truly something for everyone at National Park Nest!



Please note there is a $50 pet fee if you plan on bringing your furry friend. Pets are NOT allowed to be unattended in the home and we do provide a dog crate if you aren't bringing your own. We also ask that you monitor your pet at all times and clean up after your pet. Please understand and respect our policy, we appreciate your cooperation.



Guest Access:

Guests will be given a door code prior to check in.



The Neighborhood:

This home is located in the quiet Cottonwood subdivision in beautiful Kanab, Utah. Surrounded by stunning red cliffs and within walking distance to downtown, the location can't be beat!



Parking: The driveway on the south side of the home accommodates 4 vehicles (when parked 2x2). The driveway on the north side of the building is a great space for an ATV trailer (you will have to back up over the street curb to park there--see picture). In keeping with neighborhood policies, ONE vehicle is allowed to park on the street directly in front of the home. Please do NOT park in front of the neighboring homes and properties. Camp trailers are not allowed to park here and must find other accommodations. Thank you for your help and cooperation!



There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops.



Equestrian and biking trails are also available.



Getting Around:

National Park Nest is just minutes away from the charming and historic Kanab center, with its award-winning restaurants and shops. Our guests can hike, bike and walk directly to everything the town has to offer. Hwy 89 is less than a mile away providing access to our world-renowned national parks and recreational areas surrounding Kanab.



Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.



Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.



Other Things to Note:

Cancellations Terms: Please be advised there is a 3% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation date.

For the safety of our property and our guests, we have cameras around the perimeter of the property. Some of the cameras are monitoring the front/back door as well.



As mentioned, this home is pet friendly with a $50 pet fee. We ask that you do not leave your pet unattended. If you need to go out and leave your pet at home, your pet must be in a crate (a crate is provided if you need it). We also ask that you pick up after your pet's messes both inside the home and out in the yard. Thank you for respecting our policy.
