Two unexpected details about our stay were messaged to us the day before arrival which were not written in the property description or agreement.1. a fee of 50. was needed to enter the gated community.(a workaround the fee was suggested by the host when he learned our son lived in the community. we would use our son's address to enter, not the vrbo address.)2. we were told "no shoes in the house". i said ok but the floors were very dirty so were had to cover our feet.There was a sign posted in the LR that warned us to not leave our pet alone in the house. If someone complained, we would be fined. again not in our contract with the owner.The carpets were stained throughout the property.We could not find a heat source so we tried the MBR electric fireplace.The cabinetry around it and the inside drawers were filthy.All the bedding was 100% polyster and smelled. We had to use bedding from our son's home and other souces.We would have left immediately on arrival but we had driven 5 days to meet our new granddaughter. My son's home was hosting more family and we did not want to upset him & his wife and others, so we stook it out.NEVER AGAIN.

This is the most ludicrous review… The floors are heavily cleaned, the carpet has one small stain. The bedding is brand new and thoroughly washed. The $50 fee is in the listing and obviously not completely read by guest. It’s a fee charged by HOA, NOT ME. There is a heat source and noticeable by the amazing system located and controllable in each room. Not one word from guest on this. The heat system is the best heat system there is since it’s a mini split. This means every room can be controlled independently. It’s not our fault you don’t know how to use remotes. You could have asked. Also the dog thing, why would you leave your dog in a house you rented if it’s going to bark like crazy and disturb the neighbors. It’s common sense. I have to tell people because some don’t have common sense. On Airbnb site and this one we have nothing but glowing reviews, complimented on cleanliness. I think we rented to someone that is not happy constantly. Never again will we rent to her.

Fabulous getaway in gorgeous location

We had an absolutely amazing time at Pine Lake. The location is perfect for trips to Yosemite and the estate is absolutely gorgeous with lots of wildlife and birds. Highly recommended!

The host was amazing and answered all of our questions and was prompt with his responses, which was greatly appreciated. Especially since we needed to add a couple of extra days due to car trouble. This home is truly an epic mountain getaway! It sooo cozy, has a perfect deck for hanging out on in the AM or PM with a gorgeous view of the PML golf course and all the adorable deer that call it home! Dog friendly!!! A plus for us!!! We have already said we would love to stay here again!!!

Quiet comfortable stay on the golf course

Loved the location and layout of the home. Really appreciated the split unit AC so we could have varying temps throughout the house. Paddleboard was a great bonus!

Confortable et bien situé

La maison est spacieuse, confortable et bien situé. On a aimé les divertissement et la vue sur le golf et les animaux ❤️ Il serait bien par contre d'avoir une base pour cuisiner (épices, fines herbes, icepack, plat plastique, etc.)
