Great Escape

My friend was in town for just a couple of days and we had a wonderful time in Malibu. It's a sweet, beachy apartment with everything you need and really close to shops and restaurants. Wonderful place!

Excellent stay in Malibu

Vast ocean views right off the back porch. Hypnotizing surf sounds as the tide came and went throughout the day and night. A sea lion sunned on a large rock nearby for several afternoons. Close proximity to everything we wanted to see. Lovely place.

My first contact was with the owner. She was sweet, accommodating and very pleasant to talk to. The apartment was clean, had everything you needed and the views were spectacular. The location couldn’t have been better. It was peaceful and relaxing. I will definitely return.

Location and View Can't Be Beat

The location in Malibu is great, short stroll to the pier and restaurants. But the view from the balcony makes this rental a must stay. Facing the south, you watch the sun rise over the water to the east, then set over the pier. At high tide the waves crash against the boulders strewn across the beach right below you. This was our second stay, and we'll be back. Gated parking with your own garage is a bonus. Bathroom could use updating, but that's the only negative.

Christmas visit to our SoCal relatives

We have stayed in this property multiple times (3 to be exact) and although we have seen no upgrades to the unit, the location and view is amazing and keeps us coming back. This time, however there were ants when we arrived on the large window sill, in the bedroom and a few in the kitchen. Under the sink there was a leak but we didn't notice until Christmas day when throwing away garbage and looking for replacement garbage bags. The sink also had a very funky smell which was not good. Hoping if we decide to come back we do not experience this. We stayed 4 nights and was hoping for a cleaner and less smelly experience.

Just awesome

Our family could not have been happier with this experience. Everything from the communication with the management to Angel the property manager- just easy and professional. I was very anxious this place would be too small for our family of 4 (10 and 13 yro children) but it wasn’t! A perfect amount of space and all things we needed. We don’t do big cooking so not sure if that’s an expectation for others but having a working kitchen, coffee, fridge, microwave to heat up leftovers… we shopped at the local grocery Ralph’s - and were really able to set up shop. Craziest thing is the location! My gosh! I wish I could post photos. Our family got sick and we happened need to stay in the apartment for a few days and we were so comfortable- being able to walk right out to the beach or a short walk to the peer to grab a bite from the Malibu pier restaurant… or take a short walk on the beach. It’s all right there. The TVs are not smart but Angel brought us a DVD player that had Netflix and Hulu apps in it - and it totally saved us because we are simple, non cable people. We were able to stream movies and I even took some video work calls. All in all - I’d rent this place again in a heart beat. Thank you for the memories!

Great seafront location; saw dolphins from the balcony several times! Great friendly caretaker too.Just be aware there is no AC so we found it warm at night as you cant open the windows as bedrooms backs on to the busy road

Spectacular views. Easy beach access. The property was clean and as described. There was assistance on-site if anything was needed. Walking distance to the Malibu pier and restaurants. I would stay there again.

Best Birthday Vacation

Between watching the dolphins and sea lions to the sunrise and sunsets, I couldn’t have asked for a better location! The waves crashing on the rocks was mesmerizing and the ocean life did not disappoint; hermit crabs, sea anemones, crabs, etc. I absolutely loved every single moment!

Great get away

We live in Los Angeles County but trips to the beach entail a one hour drive to the beach and two hours to get home, so during our stay-cation we decided to make it a beach vacation and this Malibu rental was perfect! It was perfectly located so that we could walk to a a few beaches, the Malibu pier (with delicious food), the Malibu Market Place (with shops and restaurants), and Malibu Lagoon (where there are plenty of surfers). The rental is a 15 - 20 minute drive to other beaches like Point Dume and Matador, as well as to some hiking trails. So we surfed, ate really well, hiked, shopped and relaxed listening to the waves at night. So much better than driving home. The goal was to get away from the hustle and bustle and we did. The rental was clean and comfy, with plenty of towels, sheets and blankets and beach towels. The on site staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Each unit has garage parking but it is pretty tight and getting out of your car once it's parked inside can be tricky but do-able. So unload before parking in the garage. Great place and would definitely return.
