Beautiful condo-seal

Beautiful condo on the beach. Love the location right on the beach with views of the Malibu pier. The balcony is so nice to sit on and watch the waves, people on the beach and marine life. Angel manages the property and is so nice. He even brought us some coffee when I asked where to get it. The one bedroom condo was clean and perfect for our visit. We loved our stay in Malibu.❤️

Great Views

The view was great if that’s what you’re going for. The Unit was dated and lacked kitchen counter space. Sofa bed was not comfortable at all, luckily my son is too small to experience body aches yet. But, other than that, it was nice. Close to pier.

Old, Dated, Needs a lot of TLC

There is no air conditioning, no heat except a 1950's electric element heater in the bathroom (which is very dangerous), no smoke detectors. All of the furniture needs to be replaced. If your looking for a a luxury apartment pass on this one. If you're just looking for a place to crash, this would be sufficient.

Perfect week!

This is the second time I've rented this beach bungalow. The pictures online are 99% accurate... only real difference is the flooring and fridge. The electric fireplace was not working. Not sure if the owner is going to fix, but they still have heat. I like staying here for the price, I've rented places on malibu road for 3x the price, and those come with more ammenties, and a little quieter. However, for less than 300 a night, this place is a real gem. Read the listing carefully because the washer and dryer are not in unit and there is no dishwasher. Oh and the wifi was great! I worked every day, including video meetings, and not one issue. I'll stay here again for sure!

Nice property but not swimmable beach.

The apartment was cute and clean except for the dated kitchen. Not neccesarily dirty but there are tiles for the countertop and the grout is questionable. Definitely needs an updating. Our son was supposed to stay with us but when he laid on the pull out couch he decided that it was way too uncomfortable to sleep on so he went back to his apartment every night. I also thought there would be more of a beach to walk but it was very rocky. Luckily it didn't matter because it was lousy weather the whole time we were there. There is a hotel next door where we ate breakfast one morning and Nobu is down the street and walkable. One other suggestion for all VRBO owners, it would be nice to know what type of coffee maker is on premisis so you can bring the appropriate coffee, ground or whole bean or pods for the first morning you are there. All in all it is a nice place.

Great apartment right on the shore. Lovely owners, easy access, beautiful view. Unfortunately the place is in desperate need of an update especially at this high price point. There is no comfortable seating anywhere, except the couch. Needs additional soft, comfortable seating and new mattress!Living room: Holes in the couch/chair covers, incredibly painful side chair, no cushion or support left. Needs immediate replacing! At least a nice throw rug. Anything to warm the place up. Video equipment sits on ugly, awkward, cheap shelf under TV. Bedroom: Bed is flimsy and terribly uncomfortable. Constantly squeaks with every move. Needs immediate replacement! Very outdated furniture. Impossible to see the entire TV screen from the bed as slay foot board blocks the screen. Incredibly outdated cable chaos. Difficult remote setup. Ancient peeling, dilapidated bedroom furniture. Needs an entirely new KING bed suite. The queen bed is awful! Rusted & corroded air vent from bedroom to living room. Bathroom: Tiny child-sized, low, toilet. Mold in bathtub tile. Clogged and corroded shower head. Kitchen: Run down with very few basics. No wine or champagne glasses, no trays, platters, cookie sheets or anything new. Worn out toxic Teflon mismatched pans and nothing for the oven. No baking dishes or oven proof anything. Tiny 'bathroom' trash can only in kitchen. A little luv would go a long way. VERY loud crashing waves. Difficult to sleep. Disappointing sorry to say.

Beautiful view and spot

This is a lovely little beach cottage with old school charm of simplicity. There is nothing fancy about this place but that is ok as all you need it that view! The couch on the deck was my favorite spot! Make sure to bring a hairdryer though if needed as there is not one and I had business meetings to attend. After the initial check in and tour from Angel, there was no communication, which was disappointing as I had a few questions. Regardless, the view was superb!

Rustic & Ideally Located

This place is ideally located on a beautiful beach with stunning views and is within walking distance to the pier and shops. We especially loved our time on the balcony enjoying the sights and sounds of the crashing waves. We also appreciated the parking. The man, Angel, who met us at the rental and let us in was super kind and informative! However, given the price point of this rental we were disappointed that there was no hot water coming from the bathroom sink, the blinds were broken and inoperable in both the bedroom and living room. Overall the place has a rustic and charming feel, but could use a few updates.
