About this property

Cozy Lake Front Cabin minutes to Bangor and the University of Maine

Relax on Pushaw Lake just minutes from Bangor.
Our cozy camp is conveniently located just 11 miles to downtown Bangor, Bangor mall area, both Bangor hospitals, Bangor International Airport, the Casino, Waterfront Concerts, The Cross Insurance Center, several restaurants and breweries. Close to both Husson and The University of Maine. Just over an hours drive to Acadia National Park or Baxter State Park.

Our knotty pine camp gives off a cozy lake vibe. Beautiful lake views from within the camp. Sip your morning coffee from inside or outside on the dock.
Pushaw Lake has amazing sunsets sit by the camp fire and watch them every evening.

The camp has a full kitchen including all cookware you should need, an electric griddle, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, an outdoor grill, and plenty of dishes.

Down stairs you will find a full bath off of the kitchen, the living room area, and the first bedroom, this bedroom does have a full sized washer and dryer, dresser, and smart TV.

A spiral stair case will bring you upstairs to the Master Bedroom with an incredible view of our beach and the Lake. The master does have a ensuite bathroom, dresser, and smart TV.

You will also find the bunk room upstairs. This room has a two bunk beds. One set of Bunks is full sized, the other is twin. A dresser and smart TV is also found in this room.

Outside is Pushaw Lake's Sandy Beach, grill, a small back yard, dock, 2 kayaks, and a peddle boat. We have a "smokeless" fire pit on the beach, some wood to get you started.

The Town Beach at Lake Side Landing has a boat launch, we do have a small dock out in the water from about May to the end of October. Please let us know if you plan on bringing a boat. Aluminum boat with motor rental available can be tied to the dock and waiting for your arrival.

Our hosts love to fish on this lake and Marc is a Registered Master Maine guide. There will be times in the year when guided fishing may be available for a fee. Drift boat fishing tours may available at certain times.

Ice Fishing out of the camp may be available this winter. The road to the camp is private to the camps on it and it is not plowed. Winter may be snowmobile in only from another property just a couple of coves over.

Our camp does have high speed internet and smart TVs/ or Rokus. Wifi is available to guests. Extra blankets and beach towels are located in the master bathroom closet.

Ask if grocery delivery is available on the week of your stay. The camp is close to multiple grocery stores and restaurants. Check Out Variety is a couple minutes away with great pizza, gas, and usually more fire wood.

We also live on the lake, unless off on an outdoor adventure of some sort we are usually available should a need arise.

Great camp - Tight Squeeze
We booked this property for 3 nights/days but stayed one night. The camp was clean, well stocked with essentials and fairly easy to find when using our vehicle's navigation system. My youngest enjoyed using a kayak for the night we were there, and the swimming area was nice. I always read reviews before I book a vacation on VRBO. Please do not underestimate the parking spaces. I assumed with our 3 smaller vehicles we could fit in the 3 allotted places but the 2 we came with the first day were really all that fit in the parking. If you have a larger truck or van, you may be only able to fit one vehicle. As a result, my daughter could not join us so we checked out the next morning and found other things to do as a family. Had we friends in the area, I would have had her park somewhere else and picked her up - but that wasn't the case in our situation. So although the camp is spacious enough to sleep plenty of folks, I recommend you only bring 1 or 2 small cars or 1 larger truck/van. Hope this helps!

Sandy Beach
Well appointed for a week at the lake. Paddle boat, kayaks, and a dock. The nice sandy beach with a gentle slope into the lake worked well for the young children. Property owner was always friendly and available to answer any questions.

Glenburn Retreat
With all that the Bangor area had to offer, all the kids really wanted to do was hang out at the lake. Kayaking and fishing... we could have made a week out of doing just that. Just a really nice venue... spacious, comfortable, and close to everywhere we wanted to be. It was well worth the 10-hour drive. Place was as-advertized. Price point was family-friendly. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Well-done and thank you!
