Big bear stay

Cabin and location was overall good but the cabin is very dated on the inside. Furniture is very abused, couches you sink all the way to the hide a beds the oven did not work so we couldn’t cook the food we brought, and 99% of outlets would not hold our cords in they would just fall out.

2/10 Terrible

This is not even a minimally maintained property. The upper deck had cobwebs and filthy plastic chairs that looked like they were from the dollar tree. There were no curtains, only mini blinds, in the bedrooms so the sun woke us up at day break. The bottom floor squeaked so badly that anyone walking would have woken up the whole house anyway. That floor had cracks in it. The carpet on the stairs and upper level is dirty and stained, and has a huge wrinkle at the top of the stairs that poses a tripping hazard. Outlets are way too loose, and shower doors are covered in hard water stains. It’s just run down and in desperate need of a deep clean and an update!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for your honest feedback. We are deeply sorry that the condition of the property fell so far short of your expectations and that these issues impacted your stay. Filthy outdoor areas, stained carpets, noisy flooring, and loose outlets are completely unacceptable, and we take your comments about safety and maintenance very seriously. We have immediately notified our maintenance and housekeeping management teams to repair the carpet tripping hazard, address the loose electrical outlets, and schedule a deep clean and necessary property updates. We truly appreciate you bringing these items to our attention. We hope to have the chance to welcome you back in the future to show you a significantly improved experience.

Oven didn’t work

Overall the property is as advertised, but the oven didn’t work during our stay. The stove was fine, but I had brought groceries for meals that had to be cooked in the oven, and had to change plans. The property management company sent out maintenance people, but they couldn’t fix it. The oven was clearly very, very old and should be replaced.
