We had no bed
Apparently we were the first ones to stay at this listing. Upon arrival there is an awful sewer smell in the unit that never goes away. After a long day of traveling from Chicago I went to go to bed and the mattress fell through the frame. The bed wasn’t put together underneath the mattress. My husband and i looked under and all the pieces where laid out like someone was meant to finish it and they never did. We called the host and they suggested that we move the mattress on to the floor and sleep on it that way! I was flabbergasted. They had ZERO empathy and did not apologize. The hot tub was not set up. We couldn’t even use it for the first two nights because they water wasn’t heated. When we finally could use it on our last night there, when we opened the jets, the tub filled with foam/bubbles. Like it had never been run before or there was soap in it. I’ve been in a lot of hot tubs and this was definitely not normal. The Wi-Fi was not set up and the tv’s were not working because they weren’t connected to Wi-Fi. None of the appliances had been used to everything smelled like chemicals/ burning plastic when being used. The showers were so narrow you couldn’t even bend down to shave your legs. We’ve been in contact with the host during our stay and ever since trying to work out a fair refund for everything that was wrong and have gotten absolutely no where. Horrible customer service. I feel like i was scammed. I want a refund!
