We had a great stay here! Really easy to get to off the parkway and still managed to feel private. Close to hiking and amenities on the eastern side of the gorge. We like to cook and found everything we needed in the kitchen, and it was a nice treat to have firewood available to us when we arrived. Great place!

Cabin was wonderful and very comfortable; location is good. I really enjoyed the swing on the back porch. The bed was very comfortable in the first floor bedroom. I did not use the loft. Cabin is dog friendly, both of my pups seemed very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. Only downside is the cabin was not very clean upon our arrival. I would recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at the cabin. It was peaceful and well equipped and the location worked well for our climbing trip to the Red River Gorge. We would certainly stay there again, thanks!

Beautiful Cabin

We loved our stay! The cabin was very spacious and clean. The kitchen has all your necessities and more! The cabin was secluded, but it had great wifi. I will definitely recommend this cabin if you are going to be in the RRG area.

Quick run away

We loved the cabin. Needed more kitchen items n bath towels. We are in our 50's so cabin was dark but it made for a perfect n relaxing get away. We will come back.

A quiet relaxing stay

The only complaint was the first time arriving, there is no road sign so that part was a little tricky because we arrived after dark. The cabin was clean and orderly. There were all of the things to ensure our comfort; towels, extra blankets, small fans. I would probably rebook the cabin if we visit this area again!

Weekend cabin getaway

The cabin was clean with lots of room. Beds and furnishings were very comfortable and the setting was quiet and private.The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to have quick access to hiking the Red River Gorge. If you like comfort, peace and quiet this is a great place. Our host was easy to communicate with and very helpful. She even left a hiking guide about different trails in the Gorge.

We want a refund the cabin was dirty had not been cleaned trash in trash can dirty laundry in bed room and in bathroom we only stayed in cabin for 6 hours waiting on rest of party to come we wnt to a hotle so you can deduvk the 6 hours but i want a refund i have ohotos .the stars to the loft were very dark and my husband felled down the last 3 steps in the room there were boxes of screws and a mop in the kitcgen sink and dirty shose at the doir so not good

Won't be back

The property was nice but there alot of noise from the neighbors was annoying the one down the road kept reving his truck up and the ones on the other side rode 4 wheelers around the cabin all weekend and the last day I was there some girl showed up and I'm pretty she was in the basement of the cabin so I will not be renting this cabin again

Im sorry to hear about the neighbors, this does not seem to be a normal occurrence. It is of not that we do have a storage area and small managers apartment under the cabin that due to the rural nature of the property is sometimes used by the cleaner. The cleaner, however, does not have access to the upstairs until the check out time.

Good, affordable base camp

This house is on a very private lot, set well back from the road. There is both a gravel drive that takes you to the front porch for access with no steps, and a larger paved driveway Where the house can be accessed by using the steps from the back deck. The front porch has a large picnic table and nearby grill. Back porch has a swing and a nice view of the woods. The house was clean and everything in good working order. The furniture was comfortable. It would have been nice to have screens in the windows and/or screened doors to get a breeze in the house. We traveled with a small dog who is used to going for long walks several times per day. However, there are some large dogs kept in kennels on the road that the house is on. Every time we walked by (often early in the morning and late at night), they made a racket. I felt bad for disturbing the peace in the neighborhood, but that’s dogs. The house is just a few minutes from the business area of Campton, which has a few places to get food, gas and several dollar stores for those things that you forget. It is also only 10 to 20 minutes from everything else that RRG has to offer.

This is a great place to unwind for the weekend! There is plenty of space and is only minutes away from everything you need! We had a great time and were completely comfortable! Beautiful property!
