Moreover, our location offers convenient access to the scenic Intracoastal Waterway and the picturesque Wilmington River, just across the street.

Thunderbolt, at the heart of the Lowcountry, is a hidden gem. Situated along the Intracoastal Waterway on the outskirts of charming Savannah, Georgia, this town is a treasure trove of experiences. Cottage was very cozy, clean and within a very short drive of every where we wanted to go. Excellent restaurants nearby some within walking distance. It is a small cottage community, close together but very quiet and relaxing. Would definitely stay there again. Check in/out was a breeze!!

Spotless little cottage

Walking distance to a few restaurants, very close to Forsythe park and River st both within a short drive. The cottage was so clean that my gf thought we were the first people to ever stay in it. We had a great time and will be coming back.

My husband and I stayed at this cottage twice.The cottage is a comfortable place to stay. However there are few things that I noticed needs attention. The couch and the carpet needs cleaning. I know there is notice saying your luggage can be stored in the office. But if luggage racks are added that would be great! Otherwise we love this place!

Cute and cozy hidden Gem!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Marsh Hen. Everything was clean and so cute and convenient. Loved the Porch swing and sitting on porch for our morning coffee. Conveniently located between Tybee and Savannah . First night there we walked down to Tortuga’s Island Grille! Food was amazing and fun eating under the lights of the patio. Quiet stay . We were celebrating our 25 anniversary a month early and the cabin didn’t disappoint!! Would love to stay there again if we travel back to Savannah!

It is situated in Thunderbolt which is minutes from downtown Savannah and only about 15-20 minutes from Tybee Island Beach. It is clean and bright and walkable to restaurants. And the views from River Drive are amazing. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. I highly recommend!
