Inside, the open-concept living space is designed for relaxation and easy living. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, from casual breakfasts to intimate dinners. With modern appliances, ample counter space, and a thoughtful layout, it's as functional as it is beautiful. If you plan to stay in for the day, or want to watch your favorite show in the evening, the large "Smart" television has "StarLink" access allowing you to easily connect to your NetFlix account or other favorite apps. Unlimited data is available for your convenience. There’s also a washer and dryer, making longer stays stress-free and comfortable.

What a wonderful place, well appointed and with spectacular views along with an ocean inlet for snorkeling and swimming. Laurie and Candy were both super friendly and helpful, guiding us to some nice restaurants too. We had a lovely time relaxing and sitting in the veranda listening to the constant surf. A true gem of a place.

A Perfect Stay!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! Laurie was an amazing host—so gracious and incredibly responsive in answering all our questions about the island. The property itself is a true gem—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and offering breathtaking views. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. It is very refreshing to arrive at a rental and see that is exactly how it was advertised. This was our first visit to Long Island, which we loved but Heavenly Oasis was the icing on the cake. Staying there was the highlight of our vacation. The house very clean and well appointed. The decorations and furnishings are modern and up-to-date. The beach and bay are stunning! The owner, Laurie, is a great communicator and it is clear she cares about her guests and their experience while staying in her home. Property Managers, Candy and Lecky, are the best team we have worked with in many years of staying in vacation rentals. They really made our stay special. They are great people. Heavenly Oasis's location is ideal for exploring the island north or south. Truly a GEM and we will always stay there on return visits.

January 2025: My wife and I enjoyed nearly two weeks at this idyllic and stunning property. The beach house and grounds were impeccably maintained, nestled in a tranquil and surreal beachfront setting. There were countless things to love about this place, making it impossible to pick just one favorite. Laurie and Nerissa were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect.

Beautiful home and views

This home was immaculately clean, super well appointed, and in a great location. You can't beat the views, and it was very easy to get to the beach and walk in either direction without ever coming across another person. The caretakers - Teresa and Charles - were lovely, and very helpful with all of my random questions. We also took a nature safari with them, and it was a highlight of the trip.

2 relaxing weeks on the beach

Heavenly Oasis is a wonderful place to stay while in Long Island. With a great view of the ocean and the beach meer steps away. Had the beach mainly to ourselves and the owner provides lounge chairs and Adirondack chairs for the beach as well as a cooler bag that came in handy. Owner and property manager were very helpful with suggestions and promptly answered any questions we may have had. Kitchen had everything we needed including a Ninja blender we put through its paces for smoothies and rum drinks. Great location to travel north or south which we did several times. This is a 5 star property that we highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay! We absolutely loved the house. It was modern, clean and the perfect size for 2 people. It was very well appointed and had everything we needed. The house seemed remote but was truly not that far from town. It was a great combination of privacy and location. The only negative was that there was seaweed on the beach which I don’t think is always the case. It happened to be very windy when we were there. However, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we ended up exploring the island much more than we would have if we sat on the beach everyday. We fell in love with Long Island and the house and will definitely be back again! Highly recommend!!

Paradise found 🏝️

We had a wonderful stay at Laurie and Dean’s place in Salt Pond, Long Island. We were met by Theresa and Charles on the main road to guide us into the villa. The road into the villa is narrow and it was great to have had them take us the first time! When you pull into the driveway and see the view it will blow your mind. It is one of the most stunning views on the island!

Home away from home but so much better!

Having never been to Long Island before but knowing this is where we wanted to be, I researched places to stay for a couple months. Criteria was it needed to be on the water, sunrise views (we felt sunsets would be too hot and we could find that at a beach bar/restaurant), clean and contemporary, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and private (Not sure if it was the time of year or not but we saw one person the second day and a local family the next to last day of our stay...we had the entire cove to ourselves). We landed on Heavenly Oasis and oh boy, it did not disappoint! In addition, the communication with the owners was top notch. So very friendly and super helpful! Perfect location on the island...in the middle of it all. I could go on and on but the just of it is, just book it! You won't be disappointed! The pix don't do it justice...have to be there!We will be back, very soon :) Thank you Laurie and Dean!

Oasis Stay

This place is exactly as it is advertised, a Heavenly Oasis, and the perfect getaway for a romantic stay. The villa had everything you could possibly need for a long weekend stay away from the hustle and bustle of the day to day. The living space and bedroom are spacious and comfortable with air conditioning to help fight the heat and humidity. The bathroom is massive and perfect if you want a glass of wine and a soak in the tub after an afternoon in the ocean, which is coincidentally a 30 second walk away. The back deck is serene and the perfect stage to star gaze with a cold drink and good company. The owners were very responsive to any messages and provided great suggestions for restaurants and day excursions. Will definitely book with them again to enjoy a little slice of heaven. A Dream Getaway

My husband and I stayed at Heavenly Oasis for a week and had THE most relaxing time in a place that is right out of the travel brochures! The house was the perfect size with everything we needed to swim, walk the beach, cook at home and relax. The property manager was responsive and helped us to access everything we needed. The bed is comfortable and the AC units worked very well as did everything in the house. It is beautifully maintained and perfect for morning coffee on the porch overlooking the water or dinner in the same spot with a view that never gets old. The house is located almost mid island so it is easier to get to from the north or the south. The road to the house makes the location a great one for just staying put but it is only a short drive to the best grocery store on the island for supplies. If renting a car, be sure to let them know where the house is as there can be some scratches on the car from the vegetation alongside the road. This is a 10/10 vacation spot for people looking to have a very low key and quiet time in an incredble location. We will definitely be back!

Truly a Heavenly Oasis

The house is perfect! We loved the location and the view. The kitchen, and bathroom had everything needed to make a one-week stay comfortable. The bed and pillows rivaled the comfort of what we have at home. We slept great every night, which is rare for us in a rental! The only thing that didn't work well was the wifi, which the owners are planning to upgrade soon. My phone never connected to it and I was unable to make phone calls until the last day. Remember, you are going to a remote island to get away and part of that is being somewhat disconnected; so embrace it! When our flight home was delayed, we were allowed to stay in the house a few hours past checkout time with no hassle at all. We would definitely return. Thanks for everything!

Lovely Beach House with a Generous View

Heavenly Oasis House is a lovely house with an amazing view of the beach. It is relatively new construction that is well maintained. It is the perfect size for a couple. The decor is tasteful, modern and “beachy”. There is a well stocked food store and a few restaurants along the main road in Salt Pond. The house is off the beaten path, with about a 10 minute drive off The Queen’s Highway to reach the small neighborhood where the house is located. There were days that we didn’t see anyone else on the beach, so it is very private, and the vegetation secludes it from the neighboring properties. We have visited Long Island several times, and this property has the most gorgeous view of all the places we have stayed. We loved sitting in the shade on the porch and looking at the view of the crystal clear turquoise water of the cove below. Heading north on the beach, there is about half a mile of walkable beach where you can find shells and see some interesting Bahamian nature. It is also easy to walk on top of the big rock on the south side of the cove and get a great view of the surrounding area and ocean. We were very pleased with the communication and assistance we received with our host, Romiche, as well as the owner, Laurie.

Gorgeous Place

We stayed here for what was supposed to be 6 nights unfortunately a bad storm kept us in Nassau on the way so we only ended up getting 5 nights here but we don’t regret a minute of our trip. As soon as we arrived on Long Island, Teresa and Charles were prompt to meet us and show us to the house. After a very neat drive down a beach road we arrived at this perfect oasis steps away from the Atlantic Ocean. The house is well laid out, comfortable, homey, and offered the nicest back deck views and breezes. Walked the beach everyday, jumped in our car and explored and visited as many beach bars, lonely beautiful beaches and restaurants as 5 days allowed us to. The house was well stocked with everything you need including washer and dryer. Communication with the owners and property managers were second to none and you know they are genuine people who want you to have the best time you can on this beautiful friendly island. Highly recommend staying here if you’re a couple travelling to Long Island. We will be back!

Absolutely Perfect

Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! The house, the beach and the island are absolutely wonderful. Teresa and Charles bring you to the house which is a couple miles down a one lane hard sand road. The house is located on a beautiful cove beach. House is fully stocked and everything is brand new. Our favorite part was the back porch which has a dinning table and two lounge chairs where we watched the sunrise, ate breakfast and dinner, read a book and had cocktails. There is a short path to the beach. Beach is perfect. Water is calm even on windy days. Perfect for swimming. Walk over rocks to more beach. Location! Location! The house is located in the perfect spot on the island. Close to everything! Several restaurants and a gas station are very close by. As well as both food and liquor stores heading in either direction north or south. Located midway so you can easily go to either end of the island. The island has so many beautiful beaches. Each one is different and more beautiful. Communication was great from as soon as we booked and through the end of our stay. We have stayed in many vrbo properties and this was by far the best communication from an owner and house managers and one of the best properties we have staying in. Thank you so much! We loved our stay and are looking forward to coming back one day. Highly recommend this property.

Why they chose this property

We chose this area because of the beautiful beach and water that we are able to view from our covered patio. We are steps away from a relaxing day at the beach as our home is directly on the beach. The breeze that we get off the ocean most days is delightful making the covered patio a great place for your morning coffee, a night time beverage or to enjoy your meals. Not only do we get to see beautiful sunrises each morning, but the colors of the sunset are also visible beyond the Salt Pond.

What makes this property unique

Our home is newly built, Finished January 2023. We put much effort into the design and quality of the home to make it as relaxing as possible. There is an AC unit in the bedroom for night time comfort and also one in the main part of the home to keep that cool. The units are large enough that even if you turn them off while you are out, the entire home will cool down quickly when you turn them back on. The home is very private and on a quiet cove with fairly calm waters, even though it is on the Atlantic Ocean. Most days the water is calm and very swimmable. You can also snorkel and see a variety of fish without traveling to another area.
