Incredible vacation home

I stayed at Tropical Magic and the house is incredible!!! Very comfortable and nice!!! I really recommended it, we were a party of 12 and were all very happy with the house and really enjoy it!!!

Everything we wanted in a villa

This villa had everything we wanted during our vacation. Close to parks, stores and restaurants. Great security at the resort. Villa was clean and spacious with a huge kitchen that had everything to cook. Best of all, the gameroom was liked by kids so much that they want to come back to this villa only next time.

Great vacation rental

We flew to Florida for our daughter’s dance competition and this home was perfect. Location was close to Disney and more than enough room for our family as well as for a few friends who joined us later on our trip too. The house had everything you needed and then some. The gated community is beautiful as well as the property. Management was friendly and quick to respond to any questions or issues we had. Someone came to clean the pool during our stay as well and he is one of the sweetest people as well. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out it was a great experience. The owner is great with communication and very nice to work with. Highly recommend staying here if you plan on traveling to the Orlando area. We will definitely be back and book again with Sri and his properties. We stayed for a week and it was a great experience overall. Can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely gorgeous vacation rental!!

Family of 9, stayed for 7 days. Beautiful, well-maintained home. Clean, clean, clean. Loads of room for all of us. Kids loved the gameroom and especially loved having pool right in the house. Very relaxing. Emerald Island Resort is beautiful, with dolphin fountains and beautifully manicured grounds. Close to absolutely everything, restaurants, attractions. Manager, Sri, was top-notch. Needed some minor things, like lightbulbs and our alarm needed a repair. We sent Sri a text and he not only called back within 15 minutes, but had property manager at our door within hours to fix what we needed. Would definitely book this house again and again, everyone loved it.

What a great place! Emerald Magic vacation home

"We were impressed as to how easy it was to ""check-in"" to our home away from home. The house was easy to find late at night and close enough to the Disney parks - actually, they are on the easy exit route from the parks. 10 minutes as advertised. Our check-in time was 4 PM but we arrived closer to midnight. There was a light on a motion sensor that helped us enter the codes on the door. Entry was simple and swift. The house itself was lovely, spacious, and nicely decorated, It passed my close examination on cleanliness. There was a nice gift on the counter which was truly welcome by us tired people. Plenty of extra towels and sheets. Plenty of seating (kitchen and family room), dishes, utensils, and cookware. And, the neighborhood was quiet. We had a small issue with the a/C - it was on and the temperature outside was near freezing. One call to Sri and he had it taken care of within the hour. I have to say - that he was extremely responsive. Any question I had in booking the place, he was quick with an answer and very pleasant on the phone and eager to keep his guests happy. We traveled with 2 teenage boys, a 6-year old girl and 3 couples. Plenty of space for all - activity and peace - whichever we desired. It was too cold for the pool but we enjoyed sitting outside near it one warm morning. The kitchen was a great place to hang out, too. I've read a lot of reviews from other homes in Emerald Island and observed the different care and clientele of them. We would definitely rent from Emerald Island but only one of Sri's homes. We made a good choice the first time."

As having traveled around and stayed in many vacation homes and other accommodations, we studied what works for travelers. The easy check-in process is a result of one of the many features that came out of our own experiences. Accurate information such as the drive times to Disney World are given to assist renters in planning their vacation and not have any surprises. Regarding the minor AC issue - The weather caught us by surprise and we did not realize that it was going to cool down so drastically over-night which required us to set the thermostats to AUTO mode. Everything was great. The only thing was the thermostat staying at 78 upstairs during the day. Any other issues were immediately addressed by owner. Great Vacation!!!

Very Responsive owner but home and amenities a let down

First I want to say that Shri, the owner, was very very responsive. This property has been well used. All of the rooms, beds and bathrooms are great for bigger groups. However, upon arrival the home was very dirty. Cob webs and dust and dirty walls, etc. I contacted Shri and he offered to send somebody to clean it, however, we declined because after driving for 3 days we just wanted to relax. We were still charged the full cleaning fee for the stay even though the home wasn't clean for our arrival. We paid an extra $278.00 for heating the pool and spa but in order for it to work somebody had to turn a dial every 15 minutes which became very monotonous and the last two days it wasn't working at all. As soon as we notified the owner he sent somebody out. Very responsive! Honestly, I'd love to be able to give this home a 5-star review but after spending almost 4k for a week and the knives couldn't cut butter, the two toasters both didn't work, the pool cover kept breaking off and filling the pool and spa with plastic pieces that kept having to be skimmed out, the game room equipment like air hockey are in disrepair. This home needs to be thoroughly cleaned and painted and all the kitchen equipment needs to be replaced. Pans were falling apart. The linai although dirty was very spacious. The furniture is also in disrepair on the linai. The beds were hard as a rock and most were very squeaky. Only one garbage bag was provided and special bags are required for trash but not provided. I'm sure with how responsive Shri was he would have replaced and had everything cleaned while we were there but again after spending that kind of money and driving that far having strangers in the space cleaning is not what we were prepared for nor was needing it to be cleaned and updated.

First, we greatly appreciate Jane and her family booking our villa. We regret the cleaners missed a few tiny spots/stains on the wall and offered to send the cleaners right away. Guests mentioned that it is OK and that it was not a big deal. It appears that the guests misread the sign on the spa timer (I have a picture for anyone who would like to see it). The dial must be turned past 15 minutes - not to 15 minutes. You can have the spa heat timer to 1 hour at a time. This is pretty standard across all homes for a reason. When the spa is heating, the water circulation in the pool stops. If there is no limit on the timer then it is quite possible that the guests would put the heater to spa mode and forget. That would make the pool ultra-cold and turns it green (as there is no circulation of chemicals to balance). As I mentioned, this is not to inconvenience the guests, but to make their pool usage more enjoyable. The timer goes to one hour. Regarding the pans, knives, etc, a quick phone call would have gotten these guests a new set of whatever they needed. Cleaners would not know how sharp the knives are. Something that could have been easily solved. We provide a starter supply of trash bags, consistent with area standards. The size needed is not special, just tall kitchen bags (not grocery bags). When these guests mentioned on their way out that the spa did not work for the last two days, we were puzzled. We sent the tech right away. It appears that someone (assuming a kid) removed the skimmer basket and stuffed small plastic toys into the system. They traveled through the system and caused a malfunction as they broke into pieces. We have no way of knowing who would have done that but this happened on the 5th day of these guests' stay. We will check all the mattresses and replace them as needed, no issues. Again, this is the first time we heard anyone complain about mattresses, so we will look into that right away. We appreciate these guests took the time to review.

Thanksgiving get away 2020

Lovely house. Nice pool and hot tub with lots of seating for outside. Cool game room for all ages. Nice kitchen for cooking and eating with large groups. Great location, close to food and shopping. Drove one hour to Cocoa beach for the day. Enjoyed our Thanksgiving break safe and sound.

Outstanding!

My extended family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Emerald Magic. The house is beautiful, spacious and in great condition. The pool and hot tub were well used! Check in was very easy, and all the necessary information provided well in advance. We had a game going all week to see who would NOT set off the patio door alarm (we had a clear winner!). LL provided towels and all the kitchen equipment you could possibly need. My only feedback is that, with such a large group, it would have been nice to have had more toiletries provided. We had to go out and buy TP, shampoo, etc., as well as additional dishwasher and laundry supplies. Other than that minor inconvenience I can not recommend this property highly enough. If we go back to Orlando we will definitely stay again.

We are pleased to know that all the upgrades we had done recently are being liked by our guests such as Lynch's family. Over the past 13 years of renting about 20 homes, we believe we learnt a thing or two :) and every bit we learnt has been used to create a nice welcome packet that provides all relevant information. Pool door alarms are a security measure and seems like these guests made a family bonding event out of the contest around the alarms. Wow, what a great way to enjoy vacation! This villa worked out well and we will return

We had a great time renting this villa. The villa was spacious and as described. The reservation process (with the owner directly) was very smooth and he was there whenever we had questions. The owner (Shri) was very accommodating. We could not connect to the Wifi and Shri walked us through to get us online. We rented many villas in this resort and in surrounding communities before but never did we feel any owner caring as much. This is where we will always come back.

Beautiful villa that everyone loved

We traveled 10 hours and arrived at this villa and were immediately impressed with the way t was presented. The welcome bottle of wine and coffee and tea starter pack was a live saver. The villa was clean and spacious and was liked by one and all in the family. Area theme parks were close and the resort is well maintained. Beautiful villa

We stayed in this villa last month and it was beautiful. We had plenty of room for 12 of us including kids. The game-room was super nice and the kids had a blast. We stayed n other villas with game-room but this one is far better than anything we stayed before. The pool area was large and had plenty of chairs and recliners. Shrubs on the sides of the pool provided ample privacy. PS: I see the villa has been updated based on the new photos since our stay. Can't wait to return.

We had a great stay and would love to come back

We rented this villa for our family vacation during Thanksgiving and loved our stay. Rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable. Pool area is huge and had lots of comfy recline chairs. There is a WalMart close-by and many restaurants too. Would love to rent thsi again when we are in the area. Best secret is - drive to Disney was so easy and under 10 minutes.

Great villa in a good location close to Disney

When we arrived we found the villa was better than described, all of the rooms were tastefully decorated and the whole villa was clean. Emerald Island is a quite secure villa complex which is close to shops and restaurants on the 192. Disney is very close, only about 7 miles and it's easy to get to International Drive and Universal. Pool area faces south and isn't too over looked unlike a lot of villas in Florida. The kitchen was equipped with almost everything you could need with the exception of 2 things: Bread knife, Champagne bottle stopper. But don't worry we purchased these essentials and left them there for the next guests :) The villa owner was very helpful during booking process and right the way through our stay.

It appears that they did not follow the shorter route suggested by us in the welcome instructions which would have made the trip to Disney a short 3 miles drive. It was everything we needed and more

Our vacation home was everything we had imagined. The home was very clean with everything easy to find and lots of plates/glasses/dishes for our use. We travelled with our parents and 2 teenagers and a 9 year old boy. It was very nice to all have our own bed/bathroom area. We never had to wait for the shower. The pool/hot tub area was great to have on those very hot afternoons/evenings. The games room was also a big hit. We made up tournaments playing air hockey, fooz ball, pool and checkers. We even bought ourselves a checkers set at the cracker barrel. We visited Discovery Cove, Clearwater Marine Aquarium(saw "Winter" with our own eyes)took an airboat ride through the everglades, and went to SeaWorld. Our week was full of new experiences, lots of fun and excitement. Shopping and restaurants were also very close to the house. We are planning on returning to this same area within 5 years. Great Times!!!!

Good location, Give this villa 10/10

We had a wonderful stay. The house was even better then expected when we arrived. Nice welcoming touches everywhere. Lots of towels, some pool toys, even a blender for smoothies. The owner sent lots of excellent directions via e-mail that were really helpful especially his hot tips. Management company was very responsive while we were there and owner always got back to us promptly if we had any questions. Good location close to Disney and lots of shopping at hand. Give this a 10/10

Hands down the best option

I traveled with my daughter, her boyfriend and my 3 grandchildren ages 10, 9 and 5. This is the second time I have rented a villa at Emerald Island Resort - this time it was Emerald Magic and we were again delighted. This a beautifully maintained home with all, and I mean all, the extras. The kids loved coming home after a day at the Parks to swim and play in the game room - and the adults loved that they had a place to relax without the kids on top of them. When I compare the value of staying at Emerald Island resort to staying in 2 hotel rooms even at a Disney property - Emerald Island Rentals is hands down the best option. I highly recommend it!

Exactly as described by the owner

Loved the Emerald Magic guest house. The house was *exactly* as described and we enjoyed the gameroom and pool immensely. We were able to get into the resort and the house exactly as described on the day of arrival - no issue, no hassle. We ran into a minor maintenance problem which was addressed immediately by calling the maintenance company, who were polite and responsive. Sri Gogineni is wonderfully responsive and has been great to work with. I would never consider staying in a hotel again in Orlando with a family - renting this house, with easy proximity to the parks and having such a responsive, honest owner who ensured that what we paid for was what we got made our vacation simply wonderful!

Awesome property with plenty of room to lose kids!

We really enjoyed our stay and the property more than met our expectations. We traveled with two of our children ages 11 and 13 and my wife's parents. The property is nicely decorated and well equipped for any vacation traveler. We enjoyed the pool, game room, and TV's in every room. The kids stayed occupied and with so much room it really made for a great vacation. My only regret is spending too much time at the theme parks when I was really wanting to kick back and relax at this wonderful home! I would not hesitate to book this property again and writing this review has me thinking we need to plan another trip to Kissimmee soon! I must tip my hat to the property manager Sri, he made the rental process very easy, he called and checked on us after we arrived, and he was always available when I had questions. If you are considering this rental I HIGHLY recommend it!

For those who want a spacious and comfortable accommodation with luxury amenities, this home is the answer. We understand the anxieties of vacationing with small children and are happy to be available when our guests have any questions. Nice and spacious

The house was easy to find and easy to check in. Ownership emailed me right away when I had questions. Wish I had heated pool as the water never really got warm.

We know how difficult it can be to navigate with a large family including kids who are eager to start their vacation. Stemming from own experiences, we made the check-in process easy with our key-less entry systems. The pool and spa heat option was specifically declined by this guest though we highly recommended that they opt for the same. Hence as expected for that time of the year the pool was not hot enough for this guest. We strongly recommend pool heating from Oct to Mid April. Even if a guest does not opt for the pool heating at the time of reservation, we are happy to add that option if the guests find the need. All you need to do is call us :)

What a great place! Emerald Magic vacation home

"We were impressed as to how easy it was to ""check-in"" to our home away from home. The house was easy to find late at night and close enough to the Disney parks - actually, they are on the easy exit route from the parks. 10 minutes as advertised. Our check-in time was 4 PM but we arrived closer to midnight. There was a light on a motion sensor that helped us enter the codes on the door. Entry was simple and swift. The house itself was lovely, spacious, and nicely decorated, It passed my close examination on cleanliness. There was a nice gift on the counter which was truly welcome by us tired people. Plenty of extra towels and sheets. Plenty of seating (kitchen and family room), dishes, utensils, and cookware. And, the neighborhood was quiet. We had a small issue with the a/C - it was on and the temperature outside was near freezing. One call to Sri and he had it taken care of within the hour. I have to say - that he was extremely responsive. Any question I had in booking the place, he was quick with an answer and very pleasant on the phone and eager to keep his guests happy. We traveled with 2 teenage boys, a 6-year old girl and 3 couples. Plenty of space for all - activity and peace - whichever we desired. It was too cold for the pool but we enjoyed sitting outside near it one warm morning. The kitchen was a great place to hang out, too. I've read a lot of reviews from other homes in Emerald Island and observed the different care and clientele of them. We would definitely rent from Emerald Island but only one of Sri's homes. We made a good choice the first time."

As having traveled around and stayed in many vacation homes and other accommodations, we studied what works for travelers. The easy check-in process is a result of one of the many features that came out of our own experiences. Accurate information such as the drive times to Disney World are given to assist renters in planning their vacation and not have any surprises. Regarding the minor AC issue - The weather caught us by surprise and we did not realize that it was going to cool down so drastically over-night which required us to set the thermostats to AUTO mode.
