Reindeer Retreat- Great Home Base to Explore Flagstaff, Sedona, Grand Canyon

A perfect place to escape the heat in the Summer and enjoy playing in the snow in the Winter! Take a break and enjoy the clean mountain air in the tall pines of the Arizona forest just 90 minutes from North Phoenix.

This single level cabin is perfect for outdoor family dinners on the large deck equipped with gas grill and patio furniture. Master bedroom has a queen bed and private bathroom. The second and third bedrooms also have queen beds. The fourth bedroom is set up with two twin beds. Great for families who enjoy trail riding, mountain biking, and just enjoying the clean forest air. The memories that are created here will last a lifetime!

Flagstaff is a short 20 minutes away for shopping, a movie theater, great restaurants, more hiking trails, snow skiing and snow play. Take a day trip to either Sedona or the Grand Canyon.

Please note-- Reindeer Retreat is located in Munds Park which is an unincorporated neighborhood of mostly summer/vacation homes with some year round residents located 20 miles south of Flagstaff. Our nearby neighborhood restaurants may have reduced operating hours/ and or mid week closed days during the off-season.

Additional Note: We do have a single outdoor security camera mounted to the front of the cabin above the front entry light which points toward the walkway into the deck along with the parking area and street.

This place is PERFECT! Centrally located to EVERYTHING! The house is beautifully appointed. The deck, among the pines, was a peaceful place to chill.Nothing is missing! The host is very quick to communicate. Definitely recommend! We can't wait to go back!

This house was perfect for me and my family. The beds were very comfortable. Nice selection of games for the kids-and the rest of us.thr kitchen was nicely equipped as well. I'm hoping to stay there again.

Away from city. Quite neighborhoods. Both Flagstaff ans Sedona are easily accessible. All necessary amenities are available. Had a great stay.

Great Place

We spent Thanksgiving here and what a wonderful place. The property owner was very accommodating and flexible. The house is amazing. Very clean and well stocked with everything. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed at and we look forward to staying here again.

Comfortable well stocked retreat

We enjoyed our stay because the beds are comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms are set up with all the supplies you will need. Also, we brought our dogs and really appreciate the accommodations and small fenced yard for them. We had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful 4th of July in Munds Park!

Wonderful get away

The house was perfect. Very well stocked and clean. The owner was very helpful and easy to contact. Perfect location for a quiet restful vacation but close enough to Flagstaff. Very pet firendly.

Very Quaint Home

Our stay was everything we expected. We were up in Flagstaff on business and this was the rental met my needs perfectly. The host was very professionals, pleasant to work with and very accomodating. So not hesitate to book this for your short term stay.

This cabin was perfect for our family trip up north. The cabin was very clean and stocked with all we needed for our getaway. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Bill was easy to contact and responsive to our questions. We had a great time and we would definitely stay at Reindeer Retreat again!

Home away from home

It was a very pleasant experience from the interaction with the accommodating owners to the very clean and well kept cabin. The pictures just don’t do it justice. Found our rental home that we will continue to use now anytime we go up north. Such a cute place. You won’t be disappointed.

Retreat to the Pines

We have to get away from loud fireworks in our town and we love the pines in Munds Park and the quiet!!. This rental was, possibly, the best all around place to stay. Clean, easy to warm up, nice kitchen, comfy living room with pretty fireplace, nice quiet street with nice neighbors, and can I say, "clean" a second time?? Bill is just the nices host. We had a little bit of trouble with the TV. They're all different. We called him and he got back with us very shortly. He walked us through and then we had no trouble from that point on. We'll definitely be back.

Wish I could of stayed longer!

This property was a wonderful place for me and my two dogs to your house shopping in the owner bill was great he was available responded quickly and was there to answer any questions. The property itself was very well up kept and clean and provided more than enough necessities. The pictures did not do the property Justice! When I arrived I was surprised how spaciou the house actually was. I enjoyed my stay very much and would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling even with a very large group thank Bill, I wish I could have stayed longer.

Tremendous Time in the Tall Pines

Our son and his family stayed in this lovely four bedroom home for a week. We have a home around the corner but it is not large enough to house our growing family. This was close and convenient and more than that the home is in excellent condition. Beautiful new flooring in the main living and kitchen area. Very nice living room furniture and best of all for our growing family everything on one ground floor level so no danger of stairs for toddlers. The owners are very easy to work with and respond quickly to any form of communication.

Comfortable Cabin and an awesome owner ( Bill )!!!

An absolutely beautiful and perfect place to relax/unwind away from home.We had a wonderful time during our stay.The neighborhood is peaceful,relaxing and we felt safe. It has everything you need, from the toys, games for the kids, movies , to a fully stocked kitchen which is beyond my expectations compare to other cabin we stayed before. It is clean, cozy and spacious.The living and dining room is bigger, roomy and spacious than it was in the picture. All the rooms has plenty of space, beds were comfortable.We enjoyed the BBQ and deck. Kids enjoyed those games, toys and movies. Bill (owner ) is very nice, caring and accommodating he even mailed us the camera my daughter lost that he found under the bed.He was extremely helpful in providing area details with suggestions on places to visit. We would highly recommend this cabin to our relatives, friends and coworkers. We would definitely stay there again each time we come to Arizona!!! Thank you Bill !!!

My wife, children, and entire extended family have been loving our relaxing trips to Munds Park for over 30 years, and to this cabin since 2004. Our family has been fortunate for all the time growing up, and growing closer while making lasting memories. You will love your time cooling off in the summer, enjoying some night time star gazing or playing in the snow in the winter.

What makes this property unique

Reindeer Retreat is all on one level which is great for little ones, or the more seasoned guests who don't care for stairs! Our location is a great jumping off point for all the attractions and things to do in the area. When you arrive at your "home away from home" you will find the fully equipped kitchen and large dining room make for even more memories of your meals together! The large front deck has lots of seating and space to enjoy that morning coffee, or for a fun Bar-B-Que with after dinner drinks.
