Our apartment is located in the city center and is close to the pedestrian area. It is on the first floor of a quiet building. It is rented full-furnished and simply but tastefully decorated. There is a bright living room with a sofa and the kitchen includes and dining table and chairs, dishwasher, cutlery and utensils. There is also a bedroom with a double bed, a large wardrobe, a chest of drawers and bedside tables. The bathroom has a shower and also is fitted with a washing machine. Linens such as bed sheets, towels, bath mats and dishtowels are provided and changed weekly. A camping cot for children is also available on request. It is a clean and well cared for apartment and everything you need is provided, even for just a short stay. You can also find a hairdryer, an iron, an electric tea kettle. It is easily accessed by car but because it is also close to the pedestrian area so everything is at your doorstep.
Things to do Via S. Garovaglio is close to the pedestrian zone of the city where there are many shops, restaurants and bars. Just 5 minutes away there is the funicular railway that you can take to Brunate. There you can go on hikes and treks and it also have a small port where you can go on a boat trip. There is also a bus station. The train station, Como North, is only 5 minutes away and from here you can get a train to Milan. The high lake area is only an hour away by car and because it is windy it is great for windsurfing and canoeing. For nature lovers there many mountain walks around the town and there are many places where you can enjoy a typical dish of the region. For architecture lovers there are many interesting and beautiful buildings in Como. Such as la Casa Del Fascio by the architect Giuseppe Terragni. There are also Roman ruins and Rman buildings such as the basilica Sant'Abbondio.
Where to buy food Roughly 50 meters away there is a grocery store but there is also a supermarket in the same square as the station. There is a larger supermarket in the city center and this can be found in the COIN department store. From here you can access the Piazza Duomo or Via Boldoni.
Everyone is welcome So far we have received requests from many different people and we're happy that people from a variety of different countries have shown an interest. We want our guests to be comfortable and we can assure you that there will be no unpleasant surprises. In the apartment you will find maps and information about places to visit and trips to go on.
Before our guest's arrive we usually ask them some personal details such as name, surname, date of birth and address. This is to prepare the tourist contract that you'll need to sign at check-in (as Italian law asks to hosts). We'll send it to our guest in advance, just to have a look of it.
We inform you that the council charge a small tourist tax of €1 per day, per person. (The maximum number of days this charge applies is for up to 4. So if you stay more than four days is the maximum that you will be charged). In winter this tax is € 0,50 per day, per person. So we need to ask you this small tax.
We look forward to hearing from you!

The property was very clean and communication with the hosts prior to the stay was great. Check-in and check-out were both very easy and the property is a short walk from the Como Nord Lago station and the lake. Would definitely recommend.
The apartment was very nice and clean. If you have trouble walking there are 17 steps up to it. The location, we felt was good. It had shopping, the cathedral , supermarkets and restaurants close.restaurant's

Great location for exploring Como. Short walk to old town. Spacious and clean. Quickly addressed an issue with the ironing board. Can be a little noisy at night with the hospital across the road.
The apartment is nicely decorated and well equipped, though has limited daylight. The location is convenient, just 10 minutes walk from the lake, station and town centre. Hosts Valeria and Laura communicated well, sent clear instructions for self check-in, and answered queries quickly. There is quite a lot of noise from other apartments, from people and cars in the street, and especially from the hospital waste processing area opposite, which can start early in the morning.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Great value apartment, very clean inside. Walking distance to the marina, all the restaurants in Como and the train stations.
I was a little apprehensive from other reviews of the noise from both the hospital outside, and from other residents. As with all of these old buildings, you can hear talking and noises from other apartments. But the noises from both the hospital and others were no where near as bad as I was expecting. Inside the noises from other apartments generally had stopped by 10pm, and the noises from the hospital didn't start until 7-8am.
We walked from Como San Antonio train station, it took maybe 20-25 minutes with our cases. A bit quicker without. Very easy, almost direct walk across town.
Great instructions from Valerie, but other than that we had no need to contact her.
The apartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Contact with the host was easy.
We are surprised how many people say it was a quiet location. Yes, you are very close to all the central tourist attractions of Como, which was great, yet, the street was not busy with tourists. However, you are situated right opposite a hospital (or business) staff car park which had an entry gate and we were disturbed every morning with people arriving to park for work as the opening and closing of the gate grated on us! If you're a heavy sleeper you should be fine.
Had a nice stay, the apartment was clean and nice. The host gave us some helpful information and had listed some on a paper when we arrived. They had a big fan for air cooling. We knew before we booked that they didn’t have an AC but if the apartment had a AC it would be 5 stars for the over all stay.
Des propriétaires sympa.
Un appartement bien situé et très agréable.
Très bien équipé globalement sauf en matière d'ustensiles de cuisine (mention bien quand même)
Advance communication with our hosts was clear and helpful. We were able to walk from Como’s North Station to this apartment without difficulty, each of us with a roll-aboard and backpack. It wasn’t really five minutes (as the advance info stated), but it was certainly no more than 10. Turn right out the front of the station and continue until you get to the treed little park which you see welll in advance of reaching it. Then left for one longish block and right for another. The building is across the street from a hospital and we did hear ambulances from time to time but it was never bothersome at all. Entrance to the building and apartment was easy, the apartment is up one flight of stairs.
This is not a drop dead gorgeous place, but there is a lot of space, it is adequately furnished, clean, well ventilated and we especially appreciated all the closet and drawer space for putting away our things. For the price we were pleased with everything about it. WiFi served us well throughout our stay.
It is very near old town Como and the Duomo, an amazing church that is the center of town. This Old Town area offers endless restaurants, cafes and bars along with bakeries, gelato shops and pretty much any other kind of shopping one might want. The boat pier for going to other towns on the lake or just taking a trip on the water is 10-12 minutes walk from the apartment. We walked everywhere we wanted to go and nothing took more than 15 minutes. There are two small convenience stores, a butcher and a nice corner cafe within a block of the apartment.
We departed from the San Giovanni train station and walked over to the North Station to get a taxi . We paid 7 Euros for that taxi trip.
Though we never met our hosts, we always felt that they were there for us if we might need them. Fortunately, we never did need any special attention.
We recommend this apartment for people who don’t need luxury but will be content with quiet, clean, well located space at an excellent price for a town that attracts a lot of tourists.
The apartment was spacious and as described on line. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. The neighborhood was quiet, even though it is across the street from the hospital.
Positives: spacious, convenient location, washing machine and drying rack.
Negative: It was hot and there is no air conditioning, however there was a fan.

Good sized apartment in an excellent location
A great apartment with everything you need provided. I chose this property based on its location and wasnt disappointed, just a short walk to the lake, restaurants, bars, shopping etc. On street parking was easy enough and we always found a space, no parking limit so could pay for all day and explore Como on foot.
The apartment is a good size, clean and well stocked with basics. The building is quiet and noise from outside is minimal. The WiFi worked without any issues and was perfect for video calling home to keep in touch with our daughter.
The perfect base to explore lake como.
We'd definitely stay here again.

Nice, clean, quiet apartment in Como
What made this apartment so nice was the location. It's a ten minute walk to the center of Como or to the Lake. The kitchen has all the basics that you need to prepare a simple meal. The WiFi works perfectly as I was streaming a lot of videos without any problem. It's on the first floor (European) which makes it easy to access. If you are arriving by train it's best to take a taxi as the sidewalks and streets from the bus station aren't the best for rolling luggage.

A nice, spacious apartment; very clean with a well-equipped kitchen.
We enjoyed having this apartment as our home base in Como. A short walk to shopping and the old historic city made it easy to find our way. We highly recommend this accommodation.

zu Fuß in die Altstadt
sehr angenehm war uns die Altstadtnähe in der gut ausgestatteten Wohnung; leider durch den gegenüberliegenden Wirtschaftshof des Krankenhauses etwas laut; Autofahrer sollten sich einen Platz außerhalb der Parkbewirtschaftungszone ergattern;

A Perfect Choice!
This is a very delightful apartment with everything you could need for a pleasant stay. The high ceilings helped keep things cool even with warm temperatures outside. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well supplied. Perhaps best was the location - in just a short walk, five minutes, you are at the plaza with a multitude of shops and outdoor restaurants, a short stroll away is the lakeshore with much to choose from in fine dining, watercraft rentals, a few more steps and you are at the funiculare- a not to be missed ride to incredible views of Lake Como and the Alps. Felt we couldn't have chosen better! Thank you Laura and Valeria for a wonderful stay and great client service!

Good location, nice one bedroom apartment
This one bedroom apartment is located about 350 metres from the Duomo, a half kilometre from the Como Lago Station and 1.5 km from the Como S. Giovanni Station making it an ideal location for visiting Como with or without a car.
The apartment is as pictured. A large combined living room, dining room and kitchen, and a large bedroom with the most closet space I've seen in a rental apartment. The furnishings are simple. The kitchen is well equipped although we did not cook any meals there. The bathroom is long and narrow with the toilet and shower at one end and the sink at the other. It took a while to figure out that you need to run the water a bit to get the hot water tank working. There was a washing machine and dishwasher but we did not use either as there were no instructions left on how to operate them.
The apartment faces the back of the hospital and I had feared that there would be a great deal of noise but this was not the case. The apartment is very quiet and in fact I slept in on several days.
I had prompt communication with the owners, the key was where they had indicated and the whole experience was positive.

Lovely Apartment
My husband and I spent a week in beautiful Lake Como. The apartment was spacious, tastefully decorated and a perfect location for everything. Just about two short blocks from the Duomo and city center, we walked to everything. There is a lovely cafe just at the end of the block for a nice homemade style meal or cup of espresso or cafe americano, and a great pizza shop just around the corner. Valerie was fantastic at helping us with questions about the area and responded to our emails immediately. If you are looking for a quiet location in an older building, close to everything with some Italian charm, I highly recommend this apartment. Yes, we would come back!
