LOVELY, COMFORTABLE DOWNTOWN HOME IN CLARKSVILLE PERFECT FOR FAMILY GATHERINGS

Enjoy an old Austin neighborhood feel in downtown Austin's backyard. Pristine home near just about everything - SXSW, ACL, Austin Film Festival, downtown district, Hike and Bike trail around Lady Bird Lake, Barton Springs, coffee houses, the flagship Whole Foods, eclectic shops, and wonderful restaurants within walking distance (Clark's Oyster Bar, Jeffrey's, Bar Peached, Better Half, Swedish Hill and Caffe Medici to name a few).

In the middle of it all, yet on a quiet street in the charming and historic old Austin neighborhood of Clarksville.

The house features high ceilings, plenty of natural light, hardwood floors, a full open kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, two living areas (both with flat screen TVs and one with a gas fireplace), a lovely back patio, and a utility room with a washing machine and dryer (and plenty of detergent!).

The house comfortably sleeps 8 people; a queen bedroom downstairs, and three bedrooms upstairs - the master, with a king bed (and a master bathroom with a big tub and walk-in shower), a queen bedroom, and an additional bedroom with a king size bed. The upstairs, split level living room/den has a sectional sofa and is a great place for lounging and TV watching.

We have a lot of the comforts of home - wireless internet, blow dryers, laundry detergent, shampoo and soaps - and strive to keep the house clean and well stocked.

We’re very happy, whenever possible, to accommodate early check-in and late check-out, and are available for any and all questions before and during your stay, both by phone and via email.

There is parking for two cars on the driveway in front of the garage.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The number of guests in your booking party cannot exceed 8 people, and at no time can there be more than 8 people on the property - during the day or at night.

No events, receptions or gatherings are permitted, which means that if you're coming for an event (wedding, graduation, festivals etc.), no side events (for example family luncheons/dinners/gatherings with friends and family residing in other properties, etc.) can take place at the property. We greatly appreciate your understanding, and are on the other end of the line for any questions about our policies.

Great house in a great location!

This was a perfect choice for our girls' weekend. We were able to walk just about anywhere we wanted to go - including some really good restaurants! I read reviews stating that the house was very well stocked and they were not wrong! Molly was so accommodating and responsive; she made it easy and comfortable from start to finish.

Super fun visit to Austin!

We had the best time staying here! A group of three couples spent a long weekend together and had a wonderful time at Molly's house. Walkable location, easy to get an Uber if desired, TONS to do and see! Molly was incredibly easy to contact, checked in prior to and during our trip. Would definitely stay here again if coming to Austin with a group!

Comfortable spacious house - great location, great host

Molly's house is very well appointed, it is in a quiet neighborhood, and very close to excellent dining venues, coffee shops and neighborhood bakeries. It has lots of space, very neat and well organized, the kitchen has all the amenities of home. We really enjoyed our stay and would surely return. Molly was kind and courteous, and the check-in and check-out process was easy. We got lots of recommendations for venues from her, and she is a great host. Fantastic property with great host - Close to everything!

The property is in a quiet area, but many key sites are still walkable. It is incredibly well stocked (kitchen, baths, etc), designed with a great design. We stay here whenever possible on our trips to Austin and it has never disappointed. Incredibly nice and responsive hosts make it even better in case you need ideas or have any questions!

The home was perfectly set up for a large group vacation! 8 adults were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for morning walks, places to eat and short rides to events. Beautiful Home in an Amazing Location

We rented this beautiful home to attend an University of Texas football game and it was exactly as advertised. Communication with Molly was super easy and really fun. Great location just west of downtown with bars and restaurants a short walk away. Couldn’t more highly recommend.

I’ve lived out of the country for six years - time that I loved - but also time that gave me a new-found appreciation for this great town.

I have family living around the US and have enjoyed being a Homeaway guest over the last few years. I’ve made some wonderful friendships and now feel extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to welcome guests to our home in Clarksville - in my own backyard.
