Enjoy an old Austin neighborhood feel in downtown Austin's backyard. Pristine home near just about everything - SXSW, ACL, Austin Film Festival, downtown district, Hike and Bike trail around Lady Bird Lake, Barton Springs, coffee houses, the flagship Whole Foods, eclectic shops, and wonderful restaurants within walking distance (Clark's Oyster Bar, Jeffrey's, Bar Peached, Better Half, Swedish Hill and Caffe Medici to name a few).
In the middle of it all, yet on a quiet street in the charming and historic old Austin neighborhood of Clarksville.
The house features high ceilings, plenty of natural light, hardwood floors, a full open kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, two living areas (both with flat screen TVs and one with a gas fireplace), a lovely back patio, and a utility room with a washing machine and dryer (and plenty of detergent!).
The house comfortably sleeps 8 people; a queen bedroom downstairs, and three bedrooms upstairs - the master, with a king bed (and a master bathroom with a big tub and walk-in shower), a queen bedroom, and an additional bedroom with a king size bed. The upstairs, split level living room/den has a sectional sofa and is a great place for lounging and TV watching.
We have a lot of the comforts of home - wireless internet, blow dryers, laundry detergent, shampoo and soaps - and strive to keep the house clean and well stocked.
We’re very happy, whenever possible, to accommodate early check-in and late check-out, and are available for any and all questions before and during your stay, both by phone and via email.
There is parking for two cars on the driveway in front of the garage.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The number of guests in your booking party cannot exceed 8 people, and at no time can there be more than 8 people on the property - during the day or at night.
No events, receptions or gatherings are permitted, which means that if you're coming for an event (wedding, graduation, festivals etc.), no side events (for example family luncheons/dinners/gatherings with friends and family residing in other properties, etc.) can take place at the property. We greatly appreciate your understanding, and are on the other end of the line for any questions about our policies.
