This is one of my favorite vacation rentals! The view is incredible! Kazzie has gone above and beyond to make the stay as comfortable as possible. My favorite was watching the sun rise from bed.

It's more beautiful than the pictures! It's quiet, peaceful, and so comfortable with everything you could need for a relaxing stay by the sea. Kazzie was such a thoughtful host. She really did plan for every detail from thoughtful snacks to flashlights and blankets for night time exploring. This home will have you dreaming of Maine getaways all year long!

absoulutely loved our stay at this very lovely home with a very quiet, unique setting..we loved the accommadations, with a full well thought out layout and fully equiped with everything you could possibly need.We especially enjoyed being on the "quiet" side of Acadiaand our nightly visit to Schoodic Peninsula for a beautiful sunset and then would wake up to our own private sunrise right outside. Thankyou Karen for being very accesible answering our million questions and giving us some great suggestions to get the most out of our trip.We definitely plan to stay here again...and soon I hope.

This place is a delight. When I walked in, I said to my husband, "this is so much nicer than I thought it was going to be!" I highly recommend this beautiful property, with its gorgeous water views and wonderful, fully equipped kitchen. The owner/host Kazzie cares about making your stay special. You will need a car, but within driving distance are beautiful hikes and nature preserves, but the best views are right out your window. We had a wonderful week here. I loved every minute.

This is it! If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet, clean, comfortable place to stay in Schoodic Peninsula this is the perfect spot. I have stayed in other places in the area and this is the best by far. Away from the crowd but an easy drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. Close to many beautiful hiking trails and many restaurants. But our favorite spot was the fire pit on the coast right out the back door. Mermaid Mist has such a beautiful sunrise and moonrise you may never want to leave. Kazzie is the best host. Her homemade fudge and blueberry brickle were amazing. We can't wait for our next visit!!
